Light muddy brown, etched thin bubbled ring. Stewed peaches and boozy burnt toffee apple. Itchy yeast vibe, terse sweetness throughout cuts through the sourness. Rich and patient woodyness throughout spreads the bretty dusting. Finishes really raking tart and cherry. Linger is surprisingly clean.

Bottle, Fancy Al Fresco Tasting, Cheers BenHhhhh

Bottle thanks to BenH. It pours deep brown with small white head. The nose is red fruits, tang, caramel, tangy, vinous, red wine, plum skin and mild acidity. The taste is tangy, red wine, wood, mild acidity, plum skin, redcurrant, Granny Smith apple, raspberry and oak with a lingering wood-acidity on the finish. Fruity, tangy and rather scoopable.

Bottled. Pours clear, amber with a small tan head. Aroma of wood, vanilla, caramel, red sour fruits, cognac and brett notes. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up dy and pleasant tart. Medium bodied, oily to watery texture and soft carb. An excellent Sour indeed.

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by Chris, thanks! Dark mahogany with a small beige head and little lacing. Aroma is mostly of red fruits along with acetic notes, light caramel, brettanomyces, oak and alcohol notes. Taste is quite acidic, but less than I thought it would be considering some the reviews. There’s a lot of red fruits (mostly cherries) along oak, cognac, vanilla, caramel, brettanomyces and light spiciness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Mouth puckering. One of my least favorite from Anchorage or Crooked Stave. A little over the top acidity. Tasty, but a bit unidimensional.

Bottle at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Brownish/red with a small head. Nice aroma and taste of brett, berries, funk, oak, red wine. Really refreshing and easy to enjoy. A nice beer to drink during a hot summer evening.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small white head. Nose brings out dry liqueur notes, some moderate brett, and light dark fruits. Flavour brings out fresh pungent cherries, moderate tartness, and a little brett, but it’s not prominent. Surprising how pungent the cherry flavour is. Fairly complex, but not overly drinkable - a slow sipper. Very nice unusual stuff.

Bottle. Brown pour with tan head. Brett, mild lacto, dark fruit aromas. Oak, wine, dark fruit, nice funk and other vinegar tart tones.
