If I ever make it to Alaska Anchorage Brewing Company remains at the top of places to visit. A beer with legs, this release mixes a bit of Jolly Pumpkin funk with some snowy attitude. It will be fun to try the Jolly Pumpkin next.

Aroma / Appearance - A golden honey body filters minimal amounts of light. A vanilla head melts away like scoops of ice cream into a float. Grapefruit, lemons, and a clean bright earthiness float upwards with a delicate ease.

Flavor / Palate - The strong bite of fresh squeezed grapefruit nibbles at the corners of the palate. Pledge furniture polish offers an aspect not usually seen in a saison. If the release from Michigan is at all comparable then these guys should team up more often.

Une saison tout en élégance et en fraîcheur, avec une belle robe dorée, un nez sur le fruit et le houblon et une bouche droite et nette qui raffraîchit.

Bottle. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has nice light fruits and flora with some sweet grains and a bit of Belgian yeast. Flavor has nice oak note with flora, light fruits and grass supporting as well as a hint of grass.

750 ml bottle. Batch #2. Bottled on Dec/2014. Clear yellow color with a small white head. Yeast, pepper, dryness, fruitiness and some sweetness in a yummy aroma. Grapefruit, sweetness, yeast, spices, bitterness and mild brett in the flavor. Not a Saison per se but a tasty brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Pours hazy golden with an average white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, wood, funk and grapefruit. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. N excellent and hoppy Saison. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

750 ml bottle purchased locally, although I can’t remember where. It pours a mostly clear bright gold with a centimeter or so of white head that settles unevenly and lasts all the way down. Really fruity and funky throughout, with a pretty mellow grapefruit character, pineapple, mango, melon, mild peppercorn spice, oak, sweet malts, faint vanilla, and some more tart lemon-lime initially that mellows out as it warms. Light-medium bodied, with a funky, fruity, tart mouthfeel. Anchorage does it again. Never disappoints.

New Year Bottle Share in Odense. Hazy green golden with a lasting white head. Spicy, funky aroma with leather, pineapple, and citrus. Very dry fruity and spicy flavour with funky character. These Alaskans know a thing or two about using brett

Bottleshare @ Rekviums Pizza Palace, Odense C. My fifteen thousand party bash. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Good brett and funk. Best of both worls. Solid hops, crisp, fruity and dry with a touch of wood. Light, refreshing and yet very complex and quaffable. Lemon peel and yeasty pepperness.

From bottle at Average Bottlesharers Prollede Smagning. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of funk, barnyard, juice, tropical, citrus fruits, light spicy, light oak. Taste is dry, brett and funk, light grape, oak, citrussy finish. Extremely well balanced. Anchorage is becoming one of my favorite breweries!
