750ml bottle in a teku. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of sourness/tartness, some dark malts and light roast and light coffee, some wine and oak, hints of and hints of alcohol. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A pretty good beer but was expecting better.

Bottle... Coal-black ale with no head. The bouquet is all about toasted oak, vanilla and dark cherries. Medium-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor is roasty, vinous and tangy with a carbonic, burnt finish. Thanks to newcigarz for popping the top on this one!

Corked 75 cl bottle @ home (BEWARE: gusher!). Pours black with a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are red wine, chocolate, oak, tartness, brett, and coffee - with a dry and tart finish

Dark opaque black with nice bubbly tan head. The aroma is acetic and funky. Taste is unexpected. Almost a little smoky. Followed up with some tartness, which I am sure will be there even more so in the bottles I am saving. Will rerate after I crack one of those open.

Maybe a bit too funky for my taste. I guess it was bound to happen. Brett, lacto, and pedio. Oh my! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, Thx Axnjxn! This was really nice. Excellent balance of roast, and funk. Really enjoyed. Lots of cherry, wood, and other funky notes. A bit of pinot noir too. One of the better sour stouts/porters/black beers I have had in a while. yum.

Pours dark brown with a tan head and light sour, tart, oak aroma. Taste is oaky up front, with wine notes, sour and tartness, with dark fruits leading into the long, strong oaky, pinot noir finish.

Bomber sugared with Z, in honor of William Haynes, pours a dark black color with ephemeral java head. Nose is fruity and take on a bittersweet tangy aroma. Nose is sweet, and fruity with the oak and pinot easily appreciated. Finish is sour and ends on the oaky pinot notes. Quaff Score 7 / 10
