Bottle. Pours hazy gold yellow with big white head, settles rapidly with minimal, stringy lace. Aroma is funky, floral, wheat, sweat, citrus, tropical with piney, mildly resinous hops, coriander. Flavor is floral, brett, funky, with citrus, piney hops and a funky, hoppy, wheat finish and lingering fruity, tropical and hoppy aftertaste. Hops are not particularly bitter, but work well with the brett. Moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and mildly dry finish.

Aroma - definite Belgian yeast quality, there is a presence of coriander some peppercorns, the hops arenít super bold Appearance - body is a golden and a 2nd layer of a whitish yellow; the liquid is clear, but the floating separate layer of a whitish layer that lays on top that is cloudy; head sets up and is about 2" Taste - is lemon grass full, with some nice subtle hops, and some Brettanomyces; nice little funk Palate - body is more medium than light; the texture is like a White ale or a Saison, and a little like champagne; the finish is dank and funky This feels a little more like a Saison than an IPA or Belgian White.

Bottle pour. Cream yellow color. heavy citrus aroma with lemon zest and grapefruit. Delicious hoppy citrus flavors. I had this beer for the first time years ago, and love it even more today.

A smooth, frothy crowned white head floats atop a lightly hazed yellow body displaying an eroding continent of large bubbles
-
White wine soaked hay, quite earthy at this age, bright ripe pineapple, fading bold white pepper, dank basement, solid mineral characteristics, a sense of green leafy hops, accents of mango and lemon, mellow oak adding creaminess to a light body with soft well controlled carbonation, a quick finish leads immediately to an immense mouthwatering lightly tart and tangy residual, adding an additional touch of dryness with each sip

Reviewed from notes. The appearance has a golden hazy yellow body leaving a super big head for a Belgian IPA (about three fingers), some really nice looking foamy lacing appears. The smell has some Galaxy hops up front and the Brett comes out appropriately with the grapefruit and peppercorn. The taste has a majority of the Brett with hints of lemon, the grapefruit coming back. The palate, well, I can tell it was aged in wine tanks, because there is a great quality of wine-likeness to it. Harshness all around, perhaps one of the most harsh beers Iíve ever had, but I know, its part of the style, so Iíll just keep going since there are people out there that love this stuff. Drinkable, perhaps to some, but to me, uh . . . not really. Overall, this is good for its style but since Iím still not much of a fan of the lighter Belgian styles, just ok to me. Iíll keep looking for lighter Belgians to try and maybe Iíll find my niche in one of these things some day.

Smell is near perfect. Citrus, wheat, grass, spice, coriander, yeast, funk. Slight smell of piss is the only deterrent from a perfect 10 here. Is this really an IPA?? Taste is more citrus, banana? wheat, coriander, brett, white wine, and other spices. Finished sour and tart.

Bomber pour - comes out a very dirty pale gold with a robust off-white head - this stuff is not very pretty, which got my hopes up big time! Aroma is, well, unique - tons going on here - a strong funkiness/brett overtone starts things off with a heavy dose of doughy yeast, barnyard/leather, white wine tartness, citrusy hops, wheat, bready malts - this stuff is all over the place, and awesome! Flavor did not disappoint either - general wheat body with a telltale wit yeast note, the wood aging is present in the flavor. Good citrus notes, spice, brett/barnyard funk, lactic tartness and even more in the flavor - an enjoyable ride where each sip brings something new as it warms slightly. Palate is very dry and draws you in - this stuff hits on all cylinders. Well, if you couldnít tell already, I really, really enjoyed this beer - tried it on a whim and it did not disappoint - well, it is disappointing that I donít have any more to enjoy - best beer Iíve had in some time!
