4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy, slightly greenish yellow with a huge, chunky white head. Aroma is big on citrus, pepper and coriander, some funk, stone fruit, dusty grain and wet basement. Flavor is really something, it’s a bit hard to describe, some dusty grain, funk and vinous notes up front give way to lots of citrus and acidic hop bite, lots of tart and fruity notes, fantastic tooth melting hop acidity, coriander and pepper com in toward the middle, but aren’t nearly as prevalent as in the aroma. light to medium body with a strong, blanketing and fairly sharp carbonation, which fits the beer pretty well, helps to make this beer fairly refreshing for a 7%abv beer with so much intensity. Very, very good.

Very nice. Not all that sour, but a little funk, some sweet spices. Good hoppiness and acidity, refreshing.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml bottle bought @ Bierkompass.de. Plura hazy and cloudy pale golden with a huge frothy white head that slowly dissipates without leaving much lacing or trace on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, fruity, spicy and funky with crackers, plums, dry soil, white grapes, passion fruit, incense, flowery perfume, lychee, cilantro, rose water, pink grapefruit juice, cloves, barnyard, hints of allspice and very subtle hints of rubber. Taste is bitter, dry, fruity, phenolic and spicy with crackers, dry soil, cloves, pink grapefruit juice, lychee, very ripe gooseberries, passion fruit, dark grapes, wood, barnyard, pineapple, barnyard, grapefruit rinds, white grapes, dry wood, dried apricots, allspice, hay and hints of rubber. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, very tiny round, very tiny tart, sparkling and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter, dry and fruity with pink grapefruit juice, passion fruit, dry soil, hay, cloves, allspice, dried apricots, lemon zest, pineapple, dry wood, white grapes, white pepper, allspice, rubber and barnyard. Fuck me, Anchorage did it again! Perfection!

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
(Bottle) Pours hazy yellow with a large and cream white head. The aroma is fantastic (as always when it coms to Anchorage) with notes of citric/yellow fruit/passion/lychee fruit-driven hops, coriander/rose pepper/herbal spices, dough, wheat, light phenols (band aid, plastic and light spicy), incense, light minerals, touch of wood, as well as a light wine tartness. The brett is a bit too young and offers only a light damp/earthy basement and light funky barnyard note. The flavor is light sweet to dry, light to medium bitter and light acidic with notes of spices, phenols, balanced hops, citrus, fruit, touch of brett, bread, crackers, hint of whine, minerals and so much more. The mouthfeel is elegant, crisp, slim/tight and soft with a medium to full carbonation (perfect for the style). Dry and balanced finish with notes of crackers, balanced bitterness, flowers, fruits, wood, touch of bread, light brett and so on. Medium bodied. Complex, well balanced and fancy.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle picked up at Binny’s Marcey. Pours a pale straw, well hazed with a huge white head. Nose is fruity, tropical with Brett C funk notes, wheat and citrus. Nice nose. On tasting, big bitterness and some astringency, perhaps spice derived? Noted sweetness. Dry finish and wheat. Not a ton of hop flavor. Decent but far from rave worthy, IMO.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
1st cage and cork offering I have had where the cork literally lifted off itself after turning the cage..knew this was going to be interesting after this..immense head..pours a golden color..needed to pour in increments due to the fluffy head..aroma of spice, lemon, pepper and Brett, lot going on here..pretty good but I can’t say that white ipa is my favorite, however I could see why fans of this style might rate this higher..mouthfeel is a bit bland..probably better with some age..

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Breiter, deutlich brettiger Beginn, hefig. 10/8/8/10/12/8
