Holy $#!+ head!!!!!!! pours a faint hazy pale yellow/white. Smell of spice, brett, hops. Taste is bitter, hops are amazing, slight spice from the peppercorn, soap from coriander at the finish. Missing the sour, ill be picking one up to age in the cellar

Pours a really cool looking hazy yellow with a long lasting, big and full bubbly white head. Aroma is a perfect balance between subtlety and strength. More floral over anything, with pepper, spices, orange, lemon, and light pineapple. The taste is still good, but doesn't have as much going for it. Grassy, with lemon, orange, and pepper. Mouthful is bubbly and extremely fizzy. It seems to expand while in your mouth. Very dry, with a grassy and lemon aftertaste. This is different and very good. I highly recommend this.

Bottle. Pours a very light gold with a lot of haze and a massive foamy head. Aromas are thick with tropical fruit, coriander and a little funk. Flavor is light and fairly refreshing with an odd mixture of galaxy hops, light spices and Brett funk. I was thinking this could be a total mess, but it hangs together very nicely.

750ml brown bottle, corked. Batch # 2, April 2012. Pours out a lemon yellow colour with haze. Frothy and creamy white head with gobs of clinging foam everywhere. Nose has leathery Brett, pineapple fruit, lighter citrus. Taste has a yeasty and dry start, light peppery spices, bretty toward the end. Light fruitiness, some grassy bitterness. Some oak on the tongue, hoppy and grassy notes linger. Very bubbly, body is medium. Tasting pretty nice as a fairly fresh beer. Very drinkable.

Bottle, gently rolled to put the sediment into suspension prior to the pour. This looks like lemon custard in the glass: utterly opaque lemon yellow, with an exuberant bubbly head that fades slowly. This had to be poured in installments. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, lemony. Complex palate with lovely estery yeast, honeydew melon, lemon peel, lots of spice, and a pleasant bitterness to end it all. White pepper comes on quite strong in the finish (no heat though), along with a subtle dusty wood note that Im guessing is from the oak. Once the carbo has settled, this beer opens up and offers stunning complexity and drinkability. Ive had a lot of really good beers lately (Im behind on my Oregon and Washington trip ratings), and this beer remains a standout. Truly outstanding for me.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a big white head. Brett, fresh grass, funk, white wine aroma. Brett, earthy, grassy, slight funk flavor. Good beer, but not quite as good as some of the other Anchorage Brewing beers.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2014 Hazy yellow color, very lively pour, tons of head but it disappears quickly. Nice sweet and sour aroma, peach, oak, light hoppiness, light funk. Flavor has more bitterness, white ale spiciness, oak. Unique.

Bomber from Ale Yeah in Roswell, Ga-----> tulip. Pours lighter than straw yellow with fluffy white head and good retention and lacing. Aroma is heavy funk and lemon zest. Taste is funky champagne with muted citrus hops at the end.Palate is super lively and the carbonation is insane. This one tastes 98% saison and 2% IPA, but whatever, I love saisons.

Bottle at bona pinta shared with Bernat. Pours pale hazy yellow with a billowing white head. Brett dominates the aroma, funky, not much else going on. Same with the taste, all brett. Slightly sour and quite fizzy. Very nice despite being a bit one dimentional
