Bottle batch #2. Pours pale hazy lemon hue with a large white fluffy head that slowly settles to a sticky film and lacing. Aroma is funky citrus lemon and bread/yeast with a subtle spice. Taste is more funky citrus lemon and crusty bread notes with a subtle dry hop bitterness and light cheese woody yeast. Palate is full and fizzy like champagne with a drying finish. Seriously, Anchorage just wont let me down!

750 cc from Caponeís. Pours turbid straw colored, not really gold or copper, but more like a lime margarita color, with big 3-finger white head that ;aces well. Nose is slightly funky assy galaxy hops, with huge tropical fruity pineapple, tangerine, and grapefruit. Tastes citric, with grapefruit, lime, pineapple, heavy assy yeasty funk, and a complex finish. As with all Anchorage beers, this one is delicious.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks Aaron a ton for the pour. Hazy orange pour with white head aroma has notes of peach, pear, hints of white fruit with more peach, slight white grape, hints of oak, chardonnay as well. Taste is a mix of nice peach, pear, some slight biscuit, bread, some hints of white grape, touch of oak, finishing with some nice bitter and grassy notes.

Bottle at home shared with friends, courtesy of Aaron, Thanks man! Poured is pale lemon peel in appearance with a huge white head and great lacing. Smell is spice, banana, citrus, bread, a touch of biscuit, and grass. Taste is spicy hops, white pepper, clove, pineapple, tropical fruits, and pine. Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation. Well-balanced, spicy, refreshing and extremely easy to drink.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2014 Bottle @ Stephenís house. Cloudy light yellow appearance with a fluffy, white head. Very nice bretty, vanilla, coconut, pineapple, quite spicy yeasty, zesty bready aroma. A touch chewy, zesty, spicy bretty yeasty, pineapple, tropical fruity, lemon, floral, a little woody, a touch bitter, refreshing flavor. Really nice stuff. Update: drank a year old bottle and it sure didnít hold up for what itís worth.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with lasting white head. Nice dank, spicy hop, barnyard piss, dry wood, bready pale malt aromas. Medium body. Spicy, bitter, dank hoppy flavors with earthy piss and dung, wet wood, bready pale malts--very good

750mL bottle from Lizardville-RR, nose is some hops with that faint cheese or maybe barn type funk lingering way beneath the galaxy smell..the pour is a light haze with a HUGE bubbly white head, taste is more of the same with a tinge of funk sitting in the back a drier finish than most IPAís too.. not bad

Wow. I must have a bad bottle. The aroma is band aid and feet. The flavor is more band aid and sweaty feet. This one went down the drain. It must have been infected. No hops just crape.

I quite enjoyed this as a wild ale, but it was so funky that I canít really think of it as an IPA. Light in color, more funk than any hops in the aroma. Another pretty great beer from these guys. Just wish they were a bit more affordable.
