I think I caught this one in between IPA bitter and funky brett beer. Pours staw yellow with huge white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is earth and dry. Palate has some hops left but gets pretty dirty. Very thin beer, dry finish. I’d like to try again either fresh or two years old, this one was about 6 months.

Opened a bomber that i've had tucked away for just 3 or 4 months. Batch #2, april 2012 says the bottle. Fun beer. Pretty much what you'd expect from the description -- 'galaxy white ipa with brett.' Anyway, super hazy pale yellow color, funky yeasty nose and a pretty bitter and peppery mouthfeel. The brett plays nicely with the citrus from the galaxy hops and creates a very juicy texture. Another anchorage hit that i can scarcely find in chicago. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Batch 2. Hazy yellow with a massive foaming head. Aroma is lemon, brett, spice. Taste is fruity (plum?) pepper, straw and spice. Carbonation is very acidic and the mouthfeel is very light. Finishes really dry. This would be an amazing summer beer but its 0 degrees. Still amazing.

Pours pale gold into a snifter. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Funk and oak aromas. Sweet spicy yeast upfront turning to dough, resin and grapefruit before the lasting brett finish.

750mL bottle to flute Aroma of grapefruit, hops, and straw. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a larger bubbly head. The taste is sweet and bitter throughout with a nice bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is silky and oily with low effervescence.

Holy $#!+ head!!!!!!! pours a faint hazy pale yellow/white. Smell of spice, brett, hops. Taste is bitter, hops are amazing, slight spice from the peppercorn, soap from coriander at the finish. Missing the sour, ill be picking one up to age in the cellar

Pours a really cool looking hazy yellow with a long lasting, big and full bubbly white head. Aroma is a perfect balance between subtlety and strength. More floral over anything, with pepper, spices, orange, lemon, and light pineapple. The taste is still good, but doesn't have as much going for it. Grassy, with lemon, orange, and pepper. Mouthful is bubbly and extremely fizzy. It seems to expand while in your mouth. Very dry, with a grassy and lemon aftertaste. This is different and very good. I highly recommend this.
