4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a bomber into a glass. Pours a cloudy yellow with a heavy head. Aroma is of spice, Brett, fruit, and vinous notes. The taste is almost overwhelming to the palate; it's a spicy, savory pepper with dank, grassy hops. There are also subtle touches of citrus and earth. A phenomenal IPA!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Galaxy White IPA packs so much weirdness in such a lovely, light-bodied ale. The pale, cloudy liquid is the thinnest shade of yellow. The head is tremendous. Aroma showcases spice, Brett, fruit, and vinous notes. The taste is almost overwhelming to the palate. There’s just so much here. Spicy, savory pepper. Dank, grassy hops. Vinegar-like sour yeast. There are also more subtle touches of citrus and earth. Galaxy White IPA isn’t just seriously classy, it’s evidence of the White IPA’s versatility and continual evolution as a style.

A- Funky, barnyard, citrus, champagne, brett, spices, sour.
A- Lemon yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Super funky, barnyard, citrus, champagne, dry, subtle spice, sour.
P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, funky finish.
O- I have been so excited to try this as I love love love White IPAs. Finally found this and tried it. Wow. Not good. At all. Nothing like a White IPA at all. It says drink fresh or age to bring out the funk. Apparently the funk sets in really fast. With about 5 months of age on it it was as funky and as much barnyard aspects as you could get. Super sour and funky. A major let down for me. I’m almost afraid to drink the Whiteout Wit now. Why couldn’t they leave out the brett.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Been looking forward to this for a while, and it doesn’t disappoint. Pours straw yellow, with thin lacing head, good solid aroma of hops and brett. the taste is smooth and complex, surprisingly soft which must be down to the water profile. Overall and exceptional beer, if only I could get my hands on a few more bottles.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Blonde très pâle, jaunâtre et trouble. Extra mousseuse. Au nez, acide lactique de fermentation spontanée, citron, pin, conifère... En bouche extrêmement complète, l’amertume de zeste se marie a la perfection avec la douce acidité. Finale décapante de houblon résineux

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Light yellow with big white head. Aroma is big lemon brett funk. Up front is the sour funk, then herbal spoicy yeast flavors, hop bitterness, and a dry tart slightly spicy finish. Very nice..... not for everyone though.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 mL bottle. Batch #6, April 2014.
Pours a hazy gold color with a thick white head. Plenty of carbonation rising to the top. Aroma has a lot going on: fruit, spice, grass/herbs, malt, sourness and some yeast. Medium bodied and a little sticky, the taste has a lot in common with the aroma but the yeast and grassiness seem to take over with a touch of wood and hops. The finish is a little sour with the malt making a bit more of a presence after the swallow along with a touch of sweet wine. This is a good one!
