cloudy yellow, huge smooth white head. nice aroma, hops ,bitterness, notes of wheat, spices, quite complex aroma.hints of brett. flavor is brett, wine , hops,

"Fresh" 750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis, CA. Cork hit the ceiling. My bad. Pours light dirty gold with a 2 finger creamy white head. Aroma is primarily citrus - but not zesty. It does carry an earthy/bretty tone. Full bodied - probably due to foamy carb. Flavor: my mouth is bretted- not nasty or overdone - just bretted. There’s something I’m going to ascribe to kumquat rind. The foudres must not be too old, cause I’m getting oak astringency. There’s a lot of light stone fruit too. I vote this for the most complex beer of the day! It’s amazing. Finishes dry, astringent, earthy and moderately bready. Brilliant.

Bottled. Yellow coloured. Hazy. Dense off white head. Aroma: Coriander, herbs, flowers, sweetness, grape, vague fruits. Flavour: Herbs, flowers, grape, spice, yeast, brett. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a grapy and bretty bitterness. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle. Poured hazy yellow color with a medium to large frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy yeast sour citrus and herbs aroma. Medium to full body with a tingly slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus sweet & sour flavor with a medium to heavy Sour & sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded by this standout beer.

Breiter, deutlich brettiger Beginn, hefig. Die Hopfennoten scheinen die Brettnoten noch zu stärken, das Bier erscheint so schon fast unangenehm intensiv. Starke Bitterkeit, viel zu starke Karbonisierung. Sehr trockenes Finish, mit leichten Karamellnoten. Sicherlich ein gewöhnungsbedürftiges Bier. 10/8/8/10/12/8

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice Brett with berry notes, musty notes, nice. In mouth, a nice perfumey malt with light rosewater, nice crisp hops, lingering bitterness and Italian spices, cloves, very nice. Bottle shared by the Hill Farmstead crew (thanks Shaun et al!), March 12 2012.

Bottle (dregs)… Pours a cloudy off-white with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet offers dank, musky, resiny hops, ultra-pale grains and white pepper. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The flavor is dank and medium to heavily bitter, but furnishes some citric and pale grain notes as well. Finishes mildly bitter and Sahara-dry.

Draft at GABBF poured by The Man, thanks! Murkybyellow color, small white head. Aroma of sour lemons. Taste has citrus and soft lacto sourness. Medium body. Nice stuff.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, herbs and hops. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, medium carbonation, brett, dry and medium bitter.
