Bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Awesome aroma of fresh hops and a hint of funk. Medium bodied with semi soft carbonations. Nice pale malt backdrop that really showcases the Galaxy hops, which are loaded with exotic fruit goodness. Finishes semi dry and spicy. The brett character is young, but in this case- works perfectly by emphasizing the hops and not drying it out too much. I am shocked at the low ratings. One of my favorites of the tasting, and perhaps a top 10 IPA for me. Loved it.

Batch 3 Aug 2012 Brought back from Maine 750 ml cork and cage. Slight misfiring cork grazed the side of my head before ending up across the room. Pours out half foam atop a cloudy light straw liquid. Lots of lace and mad retention. The aroma is certainly tart and a bit funky. Saison like aroma with lots of spice a bit of tart citrus and tropical fruits with some hops still evident and a vinous character deep underneath. The flavor is more funk than tart with bits of citrus evident as well as some light wine notes. Medium to light body with a huge level of carbonation and a dry crisp funky mouthfeel. Nice beer but not much of an IPA after a years aging. I enjoyed this aside from the cork headache.

Pours a lovely cloudy dull orange with a long-loved loose white head. Delicious orange juice aroma, light grapefruit. Tastes like a beer-mimosa hybrid; seamlessly tapers off into a citrus hop finish. Ripe mango & peach peel. Creamy body with crisp carbonation. Delicious!

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2013 750ml bottle. Pours a hazy, medium straw, with a white head. Spicy, funky aroma, citrus, brett, quite phenolic, hay, apricot. Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Funky, spicy taste, hay, citrus, brett, nettles, grapefruit peel. Complex beer, with nice famyardy notes. Very drinkable. (2013-06-12)

An excellent conception and followed through completely. Big bold IPA with realms of bretts, citrus, and more. Excellent stuff right here!

Bottled, courtesy gator2683. Hazy yellow with a gigantic frothy white head. Moderately sour Brett nose with light white pine sweetness - it is extremely straightforward in its description but incredibly delicious. Mild-to-moderate bitterness with light coriander, light juicy orange, and very mild horse blanket. The sourness is very subdued but noticeable, providing a nice pendulum swing between the bitterness. Good stuff. I could drink this all day long.

Pours a hazy yellow colour with a white foamy head. Aroma is hops, pepper, brett, lemon. Taste is the same with some koriander hints. Medium body, Reminds me of Orval.

Galaxy is out of this world! The pour is nice. Hits the glass a cloudy yellow with a tall white head. The aroma is of coriander and brett. Flavor is Brett and the galaxy hops really come through. Sour and goes well with sharp cheeses. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by ImStillTheGman..... cork damn near took wolfs eye out. Big old rocky head. Pale straw color.... Smells good... slight tart, slight hops and hay. Taste like their love buzz saison... Light and bubbly... coriander, hay, pepper but hoppy while tart... Light and refreshing... Easy to drink. Overall good stuff but taste very similar to the love buzz.... Thanks Guy!

Bottle (thanks Finol). Pours a hazy yellow color with a big white head. Another great beer from Anchorage that manages to be hoppy, funky and drinkable at the same time. Notes of white wine, mandarin, brett and wheat.
