Past notes. Shared by "AKfaust". Colour...clear straw-gold with a thin white head. Nose...ultra funky, barnyard and Percheron poop! Palate...loads of froth and some spice up front to go with the dung and urine aromas that make you feel back home again, on the family farm. Quite yeasty and the old horse blanket lingers everywhere! The finish is long and of course funky. A dandy foray into the world of an funky beer.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white foam. Massive barnyard earthy piss and dung, straw, Wit spice aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Very nice dusty pale malt, dry hay flavors with citrusy, bretty barnyard piss and dung; the wit spices are here but in the background--super tasty sour

Sampled at THE FESTIVAL in ma. Pours a golden body with nice active carbonated white head and good lacing. Aroma is juicy citrus fruits, wine barrels, cheese, and white grapes. Mouthfeel is a perfect, and also very unique marriage of both citrus fruits, grapes and peach. Additional flavors of musk, spice, funky Brett, and a zippy tartness. One of the top beers at the entire fest.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 One of the true standouts from The Festival. Pale golden-orange body, tight cream white head. Spotty lacing. Nose is full of ripe white pear, green grapes, orange, wheat, cheese, and wet hay. Flavor is similar, but perhaps more remarkable with a bright zesty citric profile complemented with pervasive musty notes. Medium to light bodied. Peppy carbonation. Lightly spiced finish with a nice gentle tart puckering. Id love more bottles of this!

On tap at The Festival in Worcester, session 1. This beer was purely magical, and I dont even remember how many pours of it I had. Massive nectar fruit and white grape juice lead to cheesy brett funk and a massively dry crisp finish. One of my favorites of the fest.

Sampled a couple times at the Festival in Worcester... Wow I thought I was burnt out with Belgian Wits but this wild version blew my palate away. Great spice lemony backbone with ripe acidity, funky hay and sour citrus notes coming through in a very thirst quenching funked up beer. My wife and I both filled our glasses with this and headed out to hit up some lobster sliders at the food truck.. Great Pairing !

This brewery rocks, sample at festival in Worcester, murky witish looking pour. Lemony acidic notes, tart, nice funk, lemon meringue. Very enjoyable

at GAABF, Good aroma, Tart. funk and citrus, lemon and orange, barnyard, cheese. Pale golden color, small head, no lace. Tart flavor, light body, thin mouthfeel, bitter finish. Very nice, flavor had a liitle more than aroma led me to believe.

A Sim rate (Extreme Beer Festival, Boston): Sour and nicely yeasty with a short finish. Again, a great beer from Anchorage.

Pouring at the Night of the Barrels on the Friday night of EBF 2012. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin white head. Soft funky acid, toast and big brett. Lovely brett, light acid touches. Tart and bright, light toast. Bright acid. Long bretty funk on the finish. Hope bottles of this show up near me soon.
