3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle:   Orangish straw, hazy, large frothy white head, fairly sticky lacing.   Big pale fruity nose, bready, with a big bretty note.   Certainly smells like a Belgian Tripel with some Brett notes   Strong Bretty start, bready, fruity in the pale fruit sense.   This really is what it advertises, Belgian Tripel with Brett.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Finishes dry, slightly tart, Bretty, with bready and soft pale fruit skin notes.   Very clean, with a perfect blend of Brett and Belgin Tripel flavors.   Kudos to Gabe and his team for creating some very interesing brews.   BTW, if you could redo the Midnight Sun M, that would be really appreciated m-kay.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), moderately yeasty (cobwebs, barnyard, horseblanket), with notes of sour apple, lemon zest, band aid, pepper, gum.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Man, if only this didnít have Brett. As it is, itís hard to call it a tripel, as itís more of a generic strong wild ale...appley and band-aidy and a little sour. Very good for that sorta thing fer shure, but I was really hoping for a real tripel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle-conditioned 750ml. Oak-heavy aroma with strong brett yeast character of arm pit / sweat, lemon juice, chardonnay character is strong for me. Medium body, effervescent, medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, warming alcohol, strong tartness and high acidity. Creamy fine carbonation and good flavor balance, but more sour and tart and tannic / barrel-heavy than I prefer.

Drucken på Stockholm Beer & Whiskey festival. Förstår att denna är hypad, fräsch men lite väl tunn tyvärr.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
"reminiscent of Temptation in so many ways...aroma, body and flavor all similar...and cheaper per ounce. I was getting to the point where (while all good) all the Anchorage bretty beers save for the dry-hopped Bitter Monk were too similar, but this one had enough body, fruityness and bubble-gummy goodness to shine through a bit, and the brett was done just right. Very nice!"
