This is a variation on the classic Belgian Witbier style, but aged in French Oak Chardonnay barrels

Brewed with lemon peel, black peppercorns and corriander (sic).
Triple fermented - first in the tank with Belgian yeast, second in french oak Chardonnay barrels with brettanomyces, and finally in the bottle with a third yeast for natural carbonation.

Pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of white wine, wet wood, dough, citrus, basement aromas. Taste is quite complex, slight sweet, slight sour, a bit bitter. Light body, slick texture, average carbonation. Very interesting , I like it a lot.

March 2012 bottle. Pours clear gold carb that fades quickly. Aroma has an almost cloying quality that is not immediately identifiable to me, possible the brett or a combo of the brett and Chardonnay? It’s almost like coconut. Taste is less unusual with lemon, pepper, oak. Lightly tart. Pretty good.

Bottle thanks to Rick. Pours a cloudy yellow with a frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is belgian yeast, oak, and clove. Thin mouthfeel with nice citrus, clove, brett and nice dryness, very good.

Yellow hazy, white head. Smells of white wine, orange zests, spices and funk, some fruity esters in there. Moderate sweet, quite fruity, nice funky brett, some wine acids, pepper, some orange zests as well. Moderate bitter finish. Very nice take on the wit style. Anchorage sure makes thing their own way

Bottle@Home. Oak, barnyard and citrus aroma. Very pale yellow, irregular white head, fair lace. Bitter, citrus, funky, oak, white wine. Sparkling so strongly that it almost hurts. Thin as water. Flavourful but not overwhelming.
