4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 calm_dreamer (42) - GREECE - MAR 1, 2013
Best wit i’ve had yet. Aroma full of citrus, lemon, grapefruit and a hint of strawberry. Taste of the same but without the strawberry and with a strong feeling of white wine. The foam lasts long enough and the color is yellowish white and non-transparent. One can’t really handle all the different tastes and aromas that he gets at the same time by this masterpiece beer.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 SlackerMads (523) - DENMARK - FEB 24, 2013
Bottle. Light hazy pale yellow with a bubbly white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is fruity with raspberry, light pear, soapy citrus, light leather and wood, light coriander, wheat. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

This is crazy good, really. Batch #1, May 2011. This is like drinking a 3F geuze without the acidity. Loads of funk, loads. Fruity and basement. Outstanding, simple.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hirigalzkar (1820) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle. Pours yellow with a fidy white head. Notes of brett, flowers and apricots in the aroma. Taste is crisp and citrusy. The brett adds some bitterness. A bit thin. Perfectly drinkable but - as with all the Anchorage offerings - its hand to sense the original beer style behind all the added attitude.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 finol (1686) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle.
Pours hazy golden with a light bubbly head.
A nice tart and vinous brew, similar to their other brews but lighter.

From a bottle, pours a clear pale yellow and a foamy white head. Bready, malty, yeasty, Brett and a little white wine aroma, taste is similar with some funk and minor lemon zest. Good Stuff.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 DesertDevil (194) - Arizona, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Bottle (May 2011, batch 1). Pours a very, very light, pale straw. Aroma of Brett, rotting grapes, lactic, citrusy hops and lemons. Wow, riot of flavor: light tartness, leather, earthy spiciness from the coriander, and old paper. All the taste is muted from the age. Very light body, with an odd tart, bitter finish.

750 ml bottle. Almost clear, pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma has a delicious mix of funky Brett and oak with a vinous touch. Flavor is sweet and slightly acidic, funky and oak. Not strong in flavor but fantastic delicate and complex. Medium body and a funky aftertaste with oak and pleasant acidity. Refreshing, easy to drink, complex and quite original as well.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jabersquawk (5) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 26, 2013 does not count
A very complex beer. Do yourself s favor and be sure this one is at least 45 degrees or more warm - any under and the flavors separate. That said, very interesting beer - crisp, earthy, and oaky make for a wild combo.

from Erzbierschof - quite clear pale golden beer with a little long lasting white foam; perfumy with notes of hay and spices; subtle carbonation and medium-bodied; pretty tasty and gently acidic; quite dry and slightly salty; more acidic notes in an aftertaste of hay, spices and citrus - charming
