Scopey (12505) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2015
Bottle from Beer Merchants. It pours clear pale gold with a thick white head. The nose is pretty sweet, doughy, corn, honeyed cereal, buttered white bread and soapy water. The taste is rather sweet, white bread, white sugar, straw, cereal, honey, alcohol and tinned fruit with a sweet finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Soooo sweet. Sticky tinned fruit all-round. I like this brewery a fair bit, but damn I can’t handle this sweetness.

Bright, clear, dark straw color with a stable off-white head. Meaty, malty grainy aromas. I seem to be catching a bit of ketchup in the nose as well. Lightly sweet pale malt dominate the flavors. A hint of salt in the background. Floral hops add a hint of bitterness. A touch sweeter than I would prefer, but a nice malty, sweet brew. 2/10

500 ml bottle, as Kloster Andechs Bergbock Hell, BB date 13.02.2014, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. ABV is 6.9%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma, some sweetish grassy and floral notes. Medium sweet flavour, notes of pilsener malts and moderate herbal hops. Not bad, but not the best beer from Klosterbrauerei Andechs.

500ml bottle from Munich. BBE 21 10 15.

Clear yellow colour with a white head. Mild grassy, malty, kinda refreshing and at the same time greasy. OK.

Warka do 08.01.2015, wiec 3 msc po terminie. Kolor zloty, idealnie klarowne.

Aroma some malts and little alcohol. Clear pale golden colour. Good head, carbonation medium. Medium bodied, alcohol not too present in taste. Some hopnotes detectable but not bitter, well balanced. Nice Bock
