pours clear light yellow with a small white head, little retention. sugary malts, hint of corn - sweetness though, vanilla and woody-spicy notes, wet grass, booze, grape juice. soft carbonation, light to medium body - very oily, quite nice grassy-spicy finish. on style, but not quite my style either. still.. well executed.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle at Beer O’clock II, Bucharest, Romania. Clear golden with white ring. Sweet, sugary aroma. Old, so there’s just a little grass. Bitter, alcoholic taste - way too alcoholic, more than anything else. Light body, syrupy texture. Disgusting.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle from some grocery store in Munich. Pours a crystal clear, pale yellow colored body with an inch thick, dense, frothy and foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened, a bit grainy, somewhat sulfury, and a touch fruity with some apple and melon. Flavor is nice. Lightly sweetened malts with a touch of honey, a nice hop balance throughout giving off just a light spiciness, and a bit of an apple and melon note. Finishes dry and clean with a light bitterness, light sweetness, and nice malt character. Lengthy aftertaste with a bit of an alcohol heat following a medium-light, smooth body and a somewhat lively, moderate carbonation. Overall, a really solid heller bock. Nice malt character and light sweetness with a balanced bitterness and spiciness. Very easy drinking for the size. Good beer.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught at Altes Brauhaus, Koblenz, Germany. Poured a clear golden colour with a one-to two-finger foamy light beige coloured head that diminishedquicly and laced poorly. Moderate carbonation with small bubbles forming trails. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste of sweetish malt followed by a slight bitterness. Light body. Short slightly sweet finish. Mostly sweet. OK.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gold, clear, no head at all - looks like cider; aroma of sweet fruit and malt; big sweet flavour, like a bag of barley sugars - lemon, lime, orange all present; honey there too; like barley sugars, you have one then another and all of a sudden the whole bag’s been eaten and you feel slightly sick and you’re not quite sure whether you’ve enjoyed them or not. Excuse me whilst I book a trip to the dentist.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Une robe dorée claire. Le collet blanc disparaît rapidement. Arôme de maïs et de miel. Goût semblable. Modérément sucrée. Buvable, mais pas une grande bière...
