DanielHearn (2), Boulder City, Nevada, USA does not count Oct 4, 2005 This is best dunkel beer I have ever tasted. Great flavor that can not be forgetten. It is not overpowering on the alcohol content. The palate can not be satisfied with just one mug. buveur (6), Seattle, USA does not count Dec 22, 2005 From tap at the Andechs Klosterbrauerei in Germany. This is the best Dunkels I’ve ever had. A great pairing to the Schweinshaxen and Sauerkraut I had on the occassion. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden May 8, 2002 Pale brown. malty, nutty, full flavoured and superbly balanced. The best dunkel I’ve tried. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jul 30, 2003 Oooh, this is nice. Bread dough, with some caramel and some nuttyness in the nose. Really soft and full mouthfeel. The balance is amazing. Nicely nutty and bready, some drying hops towards the finish isa touch grassy/herbal, medium bitterness, beautiful. motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Feb 22, 2003 very yeasty aroma - white bread dough. light dunkel. plenty of malt but not of the dark kind. pretty luscious stuff - the only thing that tastes like vegemite toast that i like, including vegemite toast
