COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A product of traditional multiple mashing, Andechser Vollbier Hell presents a bright straw yellow and clear gleaming look that cannot fail to fascinate. Its head is firm and fine pored. Its aroma is pure and fresh from the cellar, with soft malty accents imbued with floral hoppiness. Its light and soft body leaves a pleasant, tangy taste in the mouth. The mild sweetness marries well with the velvety bitterness of the hops. It concludes on a rounded, harmonious note. Andechser Vollbier Hell is therefore a classical Bavarian Vollbier (11.5% original extract and 4.8% alcohol by volume).

0.5L Bottle. Great Dortmunder! Full of flavour and easy to drink. The only problem with this beer is the pricing of it. A little to high...

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of malt, hay and some biscuits. Fresh and easy to drink.

On tap. Pours a nice straw gold with a foamy whitehead. It has a mild aroma of biscuit and slightly floral notes. The flavor is crisp malt with a great dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light straw, transparent, a bit of carbonation going on. Good enough and decently solid head, not much lacing. Aroma of white bread/cereal and crackers, with a refreshing herbal feel and a flowery whiff. Taste follows the aroma, moderate sweetness and bitterness, perfectly balanced. Light body, very easy, with low crispness, but just enough to make it quite fragrant. Fine mouthfeel. A fairly good helles.

Tap at Zum Schneider,Montauk. I’m either rating the correct beer OR traunsteiner Helles. Hopefully not wrong. Let’s assume this is right. Pours pale yellow, white head. Aroma is lemon, floral, slightly sweet note. Not bad. Flavor is same. Nothing to elaborate on. It’s fine.

Keg at The University Club, Oxford. Carbonated gold with thin white head. Thinnish, light beer, herby, grassy malts with a ligh floral note. Some sweetness. Sharp, and fresh, but there is a damp carpet note. It’s okay but fairly basic.

Bottle from Elysium. Aroma: Mostly bready malts, some spicy, flowery and metalic hops. Appearance: Body is golden, head ok but quickly disappears. Taste: Standard helles, bready matliness, some corn, grain, low biterness, some spicy and metallic hops, flowers. Palate: Carbonation medium, finish semi-sweet, body low to medium.

On tap at PIB 2016, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out light crackery malt and a touch of herbal notes. Flavour is similar, with biscuity malt and light herbal qualities. Authentic and clean, but not overly intriguing. Solid.

From the 500 ml. bottle stamped L-2014, So I don;t know if that means it is two years old. Pale yellow pour with quick lasting white fizzy head. Toasted German malts on the nose with grass too. The body is light to medium. The taste has a nice enough sweet German toasted malt presence with a clean, crisp finish, Pretty basic but easy to drink.
