A product of traditional multiple mashing, Andechser Vollbier Hell presents a bright straw yellow and clear gleaming look that cannot fail to fascinate. Its head is firm and fine pored. Its aroma is pure and fresh from the cellar, with soft malty accents imbued with floral hoppiness. Its light and soft body leaves a pleasant, tangy taste in the mouth. The mild sweetness marries well with the velvety bitterness of the hops. It concludes on a rounded, harmonious note. Andechser Vollbier Hell is therefore a classical Bavarian Vollbier (11.5% original extract and 4.8% alcohol by volume).

Blonde ginger ale appearance with fizzy body. Pleasant lightly kilned grain nose with touches of hay and grassy hop notes. Likewise, the body has a nice pilsen graininess to it. Crisp, light maltiness with brush of hay.

50cl bottle - pours a clear gold - sticky, sudsy lace - nose is clean, honeyed maltiness, light mineral, grassy hops - flavor is surprisingly sweet - there is a nice grassy hop bite and light mineral, but they do not completely balance the swetness - nice frothy carbonation - finish of grass and light grain - a refreshing Helles, quite tasty, I’d just like slightly more balance between sweet/bitter.

Pours a clear light golden color, topped with a very decent white frothy head. Malty aroma, some grassy and herbal notes, pleasantly mild altogether. Starts slightly sweet and malty, followed by grassy and grainy body and some light bitterness to finish it. Nothing special, but definitely worth trying.

Tap at Frankfurt airport. Nice foam, light in colour. Taste is very average pilsener. Ok as thirst quencher.

50cl bottle at home. Clear yellow/golden with a medium white head with low retention. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Starts somewhat sweet, followed by some malty bitterness. Hay, citrus, malts, hops and grass. I thought this was a somewhat flat brew, not too special, but quite refreshing.

Bottle. Heavy malt aromas of grain and straw, moderate herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with a hint of pepper. Head is Average size, crreamy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and slightly bitter. Palate is light to medium watery with a carbonation between soft and lively. Crispy clean Helles.
