Ein Helles ohne besondere Geschmackserlebnisse. Nett zu trinken, obwohl insbesondere der Nachgeschmack seinen soll nicht ganz erfüllen kann. Mild, aromaarm, normal.

On tap at the CASK, Pimlico, 8th Sept 2010. Clear golden colour. Wonderful light malt nose. Great weight - effortlessly drinkable and very refreshing. Decent lingering flavour but no gassy bloating. Cracking lager.

At Andechser am Dom in München. Poured clear golden in colour with thin whitish head. Floral and grassy hops in aroma. Slightly fruity and floral in flavour. Quite mild with a bit malty aftertaste.

Ein MaßHelles at the abbey itself, only 5,60, a life-changing experience that everyone must partake in.

Tap at their Munich beerhall. Clear golden yellow with two fingers of a frothy white head. Clean hay, some minerals, and sulfur in the aroma. Some cereal sweetness and minerals for the flavor. Pretty bland actually, and not all that great.

500 mL bottle from Real Ale in Twickenham poured into a pint glass at home. Delicious golden colour with a good head and no gas. Aroma is very pilsner, its alright. First taste is ok, gentle malt but also a hint metallic. Drinkable but unspectacular, I prefer the Augustiner Helles.

Bottle 50cl. A clear yellow beer with low head. Smell is lager kind of. Aroma is sweet, malty with vegetable notes, no too hopy just grassy at the finish. No real specific aroma, quite basic, expected something more complex from this old brewery.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Lovely sweet honeyish beer with a hoppy kick. Fresh and very drinkable.

Flöska. "Andechser Vollbier Hell". Clear golden with a medium fairly lasting white head. Grassy and malty aroma, Good mouthfeel. . Soft grassy hoppy and mild malty flavour with a light bitterness, bit sweet, bit grain. Dry finish.
