3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tall brown bottle 50 cl, bought at Otto Duborg in Harrislee Flensburg Deutschland.
Fully foam, typical "deutscher Bier". Leaves some patterns inside the flute.
Nice warm bright yellow colour, and big bubbles hanging inside my flute.
Fruity aroma with some cinnamon, maybe honey.
Taste starts with distinct hops, herbs, and then malts and bread, some orange,
some dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is really alright. Very tasteful, with a wide range without water-taste.
Aftertaste lasts about average, with a round bitterness, that is good.
This beer is a good companion to pasta, pelmenis, china dinner.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle from some beer store in Gräfelfing. Pours a crystal clear, straw-gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is somewhat grainy with a lightly sweetened pils malt, a decent hay note, and a light fruity hint. Flavor is similar. Lightly sweetened pils malts with some grain, a light breadiness, a light hay note throughout, and a few fruity hints. Finishes dry, clean, and somewhat bitter before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. LIght body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, nothing special, but a pretty solid Helles. Clean and easy drinking with no off-flavors. Not bad.
