3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Probably the best helles I’ve had. Man, Andechs continues to deliver. Light golden pour, white head, nice lacing. Aroma of hay, sugary cereal, and lemon. Flavor is sublimely balanced. There is a solid sweetness hiding in there, but the lemony hops add just the right amount of bitterness to lend the brew a clean, refreshing finish. Despite the mild nature of the flavors involved (lemon, pale malty sweetness) this beer manages the be pretty flavorful. Mouthfeel is very smooth. Coats the tongue nicely. Good beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 50cL. Home. A clear yellow pale beer ; bubbly ; medium white head with a poor retention. Grainy aroma, cabbage, hay. Medium sweet, bitter note ; refreshing. Light to medium body, thin texture, nearly oily, average carbonation, medium vegetable lasting finish. Overall, I enjoyed this beer : surprising cabbage aroma, sweet, easy to drink.

50cl bottle bb09/2015. Beautifully thick creamy cap. Grain biscuit and straw nose, more dry biscuit in taste, while herbal hops remain supportive. Quenching, quaffable, modest and very dry for its strength.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
very pale yellow color. little carbonation. Not much smell. Odd taste, long lasting backend, but banana flavor isn’t appealing. ok for the german style, but not good overall.
