COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Andechser Weissbier Hefetrüb.

When summer is on the way and the days invite you to swim, ramble, climb, or simply enjoy the outdoors, you will discover that an Andechser Weissbier Hell is just the right thing to quench your thirst. Since Saint Joseph’s Day on 19 March 1993, Andechs Weissbier Hell has found many new friends. Untreated and bottled in its natural state of yeasty turbidity, this is a top fermented beer for the epicure. Its light honey colour makes it an immediate eyecatcher. Then there’s the opalescence and fine structure of the yeast turbidity. At the same time, the creamy, fine pored head invites you to get to know this light Weissbier from the Holy Mountain. You’ll need two takes to enjoy the aromas to the full. First, distinctive fruity aromas like banana and honeydew melon come to the fore, followed by fine cloves. Andechser Weissbier Hell is a very tangy, refreshing treat with the conviction of a full, soft body. It concludes on a finely balanced interplay of light sweet honey and a delicate acidity with undertones of bitter hoppiness that quickly subside into a harmonious aftertaste. A Weissbier that embodies a slice of the Andechs lifestyle: finely yeasty, tangy, and sparkling, it refreshes and renews the thirst for more (original extract: 12.5%; abv: 5.5%).

500 ml bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, few awesome German rates, thanks Brian. Awesome aroma of fresh German yeast, clove banana and bubble gum to boot! Das Boot!!

Flavor is just as nice as the aroma, the body is lighter without a thick yeasty, chewiness you find in a regular Hefeweizen. Crisp and refreshing, a true, classic example of the style, fine!

500 mL bottle supplied by WillRunForBeer and enjoyed at his pad in Merrimac. Many thanks! To oversized snifter, it pours a an effervescent pale yellow (partially hazed) with which a sudsy whitish head half a finger in length stood. Aromas of banana skins, coriander, Hefeweizen yeast, wheat germ, cognac heat, vanilla extract, and crushed cloves. Tastes the same with the addition of day-old bread, and sweat. Mmmmmm. Damn. Bananas peaking through; cornbread met at swallow. Soft and palateable.

50cl botle. Pours cloudy orange, with thick and creamy head. Yeasty, hoppy and with loads of grains. Honey, bananas abd cloves - all are clearly noticeable. Variety of spices used is amazing. Tangy, crispy and refreshing. Having this beer at the end of a long drive is truly rewarding. Enjoyed in Freiber.
