Bottle @ home. Dark brown to black color, medium sized brown head. Aroma is malts, wood, roasted malts, a hint of wine. Taste malts, slightly roast, toasted malts, wood, red wine, port, a hint of orangepeel and fruitpeel bitter. Lightly thin to average texture, average to medium body, medium carbonation. The barrel aging comes through quite strong but it’s a nice "slow drinker".

Bottle from De Hopduvel. Dark red/brown colour, beige creamy foam. Soft carbonation. Full body. Aroma of dark fruit, raisins, light roasted malts, chocolate and a vinous fruity port aftertaste. Very well balance between sweet and sour. Very good!

33cl, at 12.5%Vol, as Anders Strong Dark Oak Aged 2014, new exclusive brew, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, spicy/alcoholic/sweet and slightly woody/roasted/vinous, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, rocky head, very good brew
