Apr 9, 2008 Bottle: Copper bronze, thick white head and nice white lacing. Nose of amarillo and chinook, sharp bitter rind and melon notes along with....cheddar? Flavor is sweet, plenty of malt, light bitterness and a cloying mouthfeel. Piney finish. Decent, too sweet though.

Apr 8, 2008 Bottle, Merritt Is Throwdown. Warm gold color. Smells like eucalyptus and freshly mowed lawn, tastes like fallen leaves in the forest.

Apr 6, 2008 22 oz bomber. Aroma had a hint of wheatiness and malt. Decent hoppy flavor that was maltier than it was citrusy. Not very intense for a Imperial IPA but solid.

Apr 5, 2008 Courtesy of Oakes. Pours a clear copper amber, with a small off white head. Smells of some decent juicy hops, with some malt present as well. A little grapefruit citrus in there too. The flavor had a really big malt presence I thought, which created the hop bitterness in the finish. Not as piney or fruity, but more bitter.Pretty decent IIPA, had some good flavor and not just a hop bomb.

Apr 5, 2008 Bottle... GIABMISGFAB... Clear amber ale with a small, wispy, white head. Understated whiffs of peppery, piney and citrus hops are pulled from the glass. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. Moderately sweet; heavily bitter. Finishes up bitter and dry. Bottle courtesy of Beershine and Oakes!

Apr 4, 2008 Light copper with nice head. Sugary , hoppy aroma. Taste is a bit of a mess. Rough, piney hops, sweet malt and over the top bitterness. Just doesn’t come together and is tough to drink.

Apr 1, 2008 Pours a clear copper with floating particles and a thin head. Hoppy citrus nose with a bit of malt and alcohol. Very nice taste with hops, caramel, and grapefruit followed by huge bitter finish somewhat balanced by malt. Very well done!
