On tap at AVBC tasting room. Not one of my favorites. Nice appearance, golden-amber color with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrusy hops and sweet malt. Flavor is the same, as you’d expect, but it lacks a little of the hop punch I was looking for from the style. Palate pretty average. Drinkable but nothing special.

[22 oz bottle] Pours a bright copper color with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is skunky and full of citrus hop power. Flavors focus on the hops, as you’d expect, with a nice malt foundation. Finishes dry and aromatic; really quite nice overall.

Bomber. Decent mix of floral and citrus aroma. Copper body with white head and moderate lace. Good citrus fruity flavor along with some sweet sugar and chewy body texture. Little dry bitter on the palate but normal with Impy IPA’s. Good brew.

(Rating #2346)

Bottle from 5 points. Just your average, run of the mill iipa. Not outstanding, but also not bad. A little sweet.

On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 04/13/2009. Clear copper amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Sweet floral and resiny hop aroma. Sweet floral and resiny hop flavor with a touch of vanilla and a light caramel background. Medium full body with moderate carbonation and a somewhat sticky finish.

22oz bottle 4/12/09 (BevMo-Torrance)-Pours a clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops along with some malt. Taste begins with citrusy hops and then some floral comes in that get followed by some malt. This medium bodied brew is Ok for its style and for the brewery. Would of liked a bit more sustenance.
