22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, vegetables, herbs, butter, slight marijuana, and hints of mango and tangerine. Poured amber in color with a small to medium-sized, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Crystal clear. Slightly sparkling. Small lacing. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of hops, herbs, light butter, pine, slight alcohol, slight grain, malts, and vegetables. Medium body. Average texture. Hoppy, bitter, vegetal finish.

Bottle... GIABMISGFAB... Clear amber ale with a small, wispy, white head. Understated whiffs of peppery, piney and citrus hops are pulled from the glass. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. Moderately sweet; heavily bitter. Finishes up bitter and dry. Bottle courtesy of Beershine and Oakes!

This is a beer that I got to admit that I would have loved when I first started drinking IPAs. It is a beefed up version of Hop Ottin. Very bitter, C hops in their glory. Gold color, crisp and translucent. I still love the the citus aroma from this one, like many IPA’s. The palate is totally dominated by the hops - this is a real hop brute. Its probably too bad that they didn’t make this beer four or five years ago, it would have really stood out, now it is one of a dozen or so with a very similar profile. Hops heads will gather around it, most others will realize they had this beer before.

(Rating #2346)

Bottle: Copper bronze, thick white head and nice white lacing. Nose of amarillo and chinook, sharp bitter rind and melon notes along with....cheddar? Flavor is sweet, plenty of malt, light bitterness and a cloying mouthfeel. Piney finish. Decent, too sweet though.

Bottle from 5 points. Just your average, run of the mill iipa. Not outstanding, but also not bad. A little sweet.

My wife said the aroma contains notes of soy sauce and yeast; I noted a lot of rich breadiness and dough. She didn’t taste, but I did: It is definitely earthy, with quite a salty kick, and some hops, but the hops are hiding - a lot of emphasis was on the malts, apparently. Overall, it’s good, tasty, interesting, and quite the ABV.
