tupalev (2299), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 28, 2008 Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, Jerc, Mabel, and GregClow, courtesy of Harry and Mr. Blank (two bottles). Dark orange, small white head. Resiny hop aroma - yum. Great hoppy taste - again resiny, oily. Awesome, loved it, my favourite style done very well. JohnnyJ (654), Reno, Nevada, USA Aug 25, 2008 Pours a gold/deep orange with frothy white head. Quite a nice IIPA, but pretty standard for the style. Grapefruit, orange peel, caramel malt, floral hops, and hints of bread. Tastes good, worth a try, but nothing special. carl4beer (272), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA Aug 23, 2008 22 oz. pours a golden amber with head that just won’t stop... aroma is apricot and caramel. mouthful is very malty the relents to some hop that is mild of orange citrus. finnish is mildly bitter. rather mediocre for the style. Praetorian (51), Los Angeles, California, USA Aug 20, 2008 Amber in color with a small light brown head with almost no lacing. The aroma is of citrus, hops, and caramel with a hint of molasses. The flavor is hoppy with a somewhat sweet start and a bitter finish. The texture is syrupy. Not bad, but nothing special. mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 13, 2008 [1517-20080711] 1pt6floz bottle. Spiced orange hops aroma also has sweet toasted malt. Hazy, medium orange body with a quick off-white foamy head. Bitter hoppy grains and a lingering bitterness in the flavour. Medium body is very bitter. Has a *bear* with antlers on the label, nice!
