Bottle: Copper bronze, thick white head and nice white lacing. Nose of amarillo and chinook, sharp bitter rind and melon notes along with....cheddar? Flavor is sweet, plenty of malt, light bitterness and a cloying mouthfeel. Piney finish. Decent, too sweet though.

Amber in color with a small light brown head with almost no lacing. The aroma is of citrus, hops, and caramel with a hint of molasses. The flavor is hoppy with a somewhat sweet start and a bitter finish. The texture is syrupy. Not bad, but nothing special.

[1517-20080711] 1pt6floz bottle. Spiced orange hops aroma also has sweet toasted malt. Hazy, medium orange body with a quick off-white foamy head. Bitter hoppy grains and a lingering bitterness in the flavour. Medium body is very bitter. Has a *bear* with antlers on the label, nice!

Clear dark orange with a thick layer of frothy foam. Aroma is big malts, grassy and piney hops, grapefruit and light citrus, touch of raisins and booze. Flavor is balanced between bread/caramel-base malts and dry bitter pine resin hops, orange and lemon zest appear briefly before the bitter finish and dense alcohol warming. Big thick chewy texture and ample carbonation. A surprisingly malty IIPA with a big alcohol presence that dominates when warmed up.

Two bottles (22oz) shared by me & HogTownHarry with GregClow, jerc, mabel & tupalev. Pours a very slightly hazy orange-amber with an average size frothy off-white head. Nice lacing. Nice aroma which is equally malty and hoppy (citrus and piney resiny hops). Pleasant, dry flavour of caramel malt and resiny hops along with some fruit and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good stuff, it’s a fairly well balanced DIPA and I quite enjoyed it.
