COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnish gold hue with a persistent, rocky white head. Floral, spicy aroma redolent of lilacs, white pepper and Bartlett pears with undertones of blueberry honey and roses. A pleasant balance of crisp bitterness with a clean malt profile adorned spicy, herbal hop flavors lasting into a dry refreshing finish.

Bottle at De La Gare. Pours slight hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of big cheesy malt, real old sock malt, floral hops, fruits and light citrus. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light moderate carbonation.

Copper colour. Aroma has a strong floral herbal sweetness. Flavour is also sweet with pear juice and candy. Hop bitterness in the finish but not enough to counteract the overall sweet floral flavours.

Aroma of toasted malt, bread, caramel, some candy, tea, fruity notes, herbal notes, mild hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Okay mild IPA, but not fruity and hoppy enough to be a winner. Disappointing.

Aroma of bread, iron and blossoms. Redlike golden clear colour with an off white head. Pretty bitter, a bit haylike anf copper and honey. Bitter aftertaste. Nice!

Te bittere nasmaak in mijn ogen. Verder prima IPA alleen mist het fruitige. Qua kleur mooie goedkeuring.

355ml bottle at home. Clear amber brown with a small slightly off-white head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Great subtle bitterness with some fruity sweetness. Grapefruit, tropical fruits, citrus, caramel, honey and spices. A tasty IPA!

Fresh bottle. Nose is lightly musty, pale malt sunshine with a touch of grain, touch of earth and dank, faint dough and spice. Very fresh and inviting. Pours clear, dark golden blended with orange, head large and dense beige. Taste lightly sweet to start, citrus and heavy dough, spice, a little musty/dank in the pleasant way, some peel with floral and herbal undertones. Cleansing soap, lace, strongly hop-spicy medium-full body, quenching and vibrant, hops edging in on that elusive spaghetti funk. Lowish bitterness, some booze showing by the end. Mineral/water character coating and a little off-putting, but there’s a ton of character here and this could be a reach-for.

Bottle. Faint aroma, malts sissy hops. Flavor has a soapy hop bitter, heavy malt feel. Finishes in a nice full bitter finish. I enjoy the balance in the finish with an enjoyable bitter feeling.

35cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, as Spring Hornin’. Clear copper colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, rye, toast, honey, hint of forest fruits. Flavour is sweet, malty, hint of toast/nuts, caramel/toffee, nice hop bite, resin, berries, caramel and herbal bitter finish that lingers quite a bit. Light to medium bodied, slick. I like it.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy dark orange with small off-white foamy head, faint malt aroma, low carbonation, slight hops bitterness, abrupt finish with bitter aftertaste. Quite bland, feels like a session IPA.
