3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating #1043 - March 27, 2014 - @avbc tap takeover @revolutionYEG - Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, spicy earthy hops, toasted malt. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and paleish malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark orange amber color with a huge fluffy orange- white head that lingered foreverand left great lacing. The aroma was fruity, citric and a bit tropical. The flavor was bitter and tangy with sour caramel, tobacco, pine and citrus. An odd presence underneath. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Taproom on 19th. Pours a hazy orange with medium frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is toasted malt and caramel. Medium mouth, bitter hop bite, caramel, resin finish, very good.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted on tap at Whole Foods. It poured a clear, dark, copperish amber hue with a thick light tan head and spotty lacing. Very subtle malt and hop aroma. Malt over hops on the buds. A nice little number to try on this Craft Beer Week!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma is big candied fruit and sweet syrupy malt. Taste isnít far off from that. Lots of big maltiness and very little hops. Super sweet and almost has a brown sugar taste. I was thinking this one would have been a lot more floral and hop forward but I was definitely wrong.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle pours with a clear copper body that supports a dirty white head. The aroma offers up earthy herbal hops, a sliver of sweetened citrus and then a spiced sort of apple sensation. The taste starts with bitter pine and then pineapple hops rolling quickly into malt sweetened citrus. In the background bubbles plenty of lightly roasted malts, some biscuit malts and a dash of caramel malts. A little bitter and malty and lacking in balance.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(bottle - 12 oz) Copper pour with a thick white head. More caramel and sweet malts in the aroma than hops. Some subtle notes at the end however. Flavor is malty and lightly fruity with the barest hint of hop bitterness. Not overpowering but enough of a hop presence to balance it out.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle- Pours golden with a huge off white head and lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is minerals, caramel malts, floral, light and fruity. The taste earthy hops, medium solid bitterness, not a fan of the malt they used, caramel and dirty. Not a very good IPA.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a lightly hazy rust orange. Has a faint malt and light fruit aroma. A strong malt and caramel taste with some fruits. A lingering bitter malt and extra sweet and dry caramel aftertaste.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Taste like an IPA with some notes of red pear. A bit too much going on for my liking. You can taste the 6.8% alcohol. It's needlessly strong.
