COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnish gold hue with a persistent, rocky white head. Floral, spicy aroma redolent of lilacs, white pepper and Bartlett pears with undertones of blueberry honey and roses. A pleasant balance of crisp bitterness with a clean malt profile adorned spicy, herbal hop flavors lasting into a dry refreshing finish.

Rating #1043 - March 27, 2014 - @avbc tap takeover @revolutionYEG - Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, spicy earthy hops, toasted malt. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and paleish malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

I expected an IPA, but I read the label. It is a bit off from the dry and fruity/piney we have at the higher percentiles. Does not mean it is a bad beer. I liked it although I would say it is more like a stronger pale ale. A little slick/buttery though. However, the "India" label is associated with particular flavors, unfortunately.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a clear deep golden color with an off white head. The aroma has lots of strawberries, caramel and light floral notes. A little rotting fruit. The flavor is the same with strong, aspirin like bitterness. More caramel and rotting fruit. No thank you.

Medium gold pour, pancake off white head, some lace. Nose is medium roasted malt and floral hops. Bitter. Middle is chewy malt, apricots and soft hop cones. Finish is bitter.

0,5l Flasche. Goldoranges Bier mit beigem Schaum. Fruchtiger Duft. Schmeckt intensiv nach Hopfen mit einer fruchtigen Komponente.

Bottle at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours amber with a white head. Light caramel, light b.o., light lemon aroma.Medium body, medium carbonation. Odd, stale flavours - itís astringent, chemically, metally with citrus. Very unpleasant bitter, harsh aftertaste. Bad.

Didnít catch all the flavors listed but i know i did enjoy the pear lement to the beer which balanced the hops out. This was a nice drinker.

3/3/15. On tap at Bleu Cafe. Amber pour with a small khaki head, good lacing. Grainy, husky aroma, earthy, floral, spicy, caramel - meh. Bitter, chalky flavor, floral, pungent, grainy, lingering orange peel and minerals. Meh.

Bottle poured to a pint. Pours light Amber, with overly frothy white head. Aroma is floral, light citrus with slightly sweet, biscuity malts. Taste is more malty than hoppy, hops come across last with honey and floral notes. Light body, low carbonation. Not a typical IPA profile, not my favorite hops featured here. Pass.

On draft at Whole Foods Pasadena. Pours a cloudy dark brown with an ecru head. Flavors of caramel with some oak notes. Bitter, slightly tart finish.

12oz bottle - Aroma - piney/herbal hops with some light biscuit malt, a touch of toast Appearance - clear copper body, huge fluffy off-white head Mouthfeel - medium body, medium carbonation Flavor - surprising sweetness in this beer, toffee malts, light in the hops but what is there is on the floral side. Overall - not an IPA except for the alcohol level. Affordable, clean beer thatís easy to drink but doesnít really deliver that IPA flavor/aroma you might expect.
