Draft at Fountainhead. I’m really not sure why this is called an EPA. It is a low abv APA. Anyway, pours an attractive golden amber with a sticky white head. Nose is spicy and citrusy, faint caramel malt notes as well. On taste, soft bitterness and grassy and fruity hops. Light estery fruitiness as well. Light and refreshing. Pretty decent pint, this one.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Slipstream (1776) - USA - JUL 8, 2011
Bomber from Whole Foods. There is a dash of green in the dark tan pour. Top of the heap aroma - sweet mellow hops, freshly baked cookies. green leaves. The taste is peppy and hoppy (Amarillo? Just a guess). It is pretty light on the palate, and not sugary or heavy on the malts. There are some green hops in the aftertaste. A really good PA - glad I had it fresh.

An uninspiring aroma, but pours with a dark copper hue and thin white head. The taste is malty and slightly sweet with a slight bitter finish. Not a bad brew, but not very inspiring.

Sample from a growler shared by shigadeyo. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. The aroma is pale malt, grassy with light fruits. The flavor is dry grassy, lightly fruity with a pale malt base. This doesn’t have much personality.
