COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With Wee Geech, we aimed to satisfy the hop heads out there, while still offering a sessionable and balanced ale. We employed the use of some very characteristic late-hops to provide maximum flavor and aroma without a tongue-scraping bitterness. The aroma hops have a very piney, citrusy, and grassy element which we further emphasized by adding fresh cut lemongrass late in the kettle. It also imparts a spicy ginger character that you may not be able to put your finger on. The malt body was kept simple, clean, and slightly biscuity to let the hops shine through.

Draft. Mostly clear golden color with a small white head. Grassy and grainy aroma, pretty nice. Interesting flavor, almost a bit roasty, with biscuit and caramel. Not too hoppy. Medium-light body with good carbonation. Nice "session beer" if you can call it that.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours pale gold with fluffy white head. Nose is resiny hops, black pepper, spicy yeasty. Tastes hoppy, fruity with mango and pineapple, resiny, spicy with black pepper. Medium palate heft. This one is not a 3.0 beer. It is a 3.5 and higher beer. Trust me on that, and try this one if you see it.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, hops, grass, grain, and a hint of citrus. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, creamy, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Not sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, grass, hops, and a hint of caramel. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, grass, hop finish is lightly dry, slightly sweet, and lightly bitter.

Draft @ APEX. Thin, almost non-existent head, very thin lace. Hazy apricot color. Spicy and floral aroma, thin palate, reminiscent of a good clean pils. If you like IPA but need something sessionable, this is your jam.

Tap at Pony Bar. Pale golden pour. The nose is softly hoppy with orange peel and a light malt base. A kiss of spice and some light fruit. There is a bit of soft toast. It’s simple but decent.

Sampled on tap poured a light copper with white head. Aromas of pine straw and mild citrus. Flavor was a bit grassy with a touch of barnyard straw and hay. Body was medium light with a real dry feel

Draft at Fountainhead. I’m really not sure why this is called an EPA. It is a low abv APA. Anyway, pours an attractive golden amber with a sticky white head. Nose is spicy and citrusy, faint caramel malt notes as well. On taste, soft bitterness and grassy and fruity hops. Light estery fruitiness as well. Light and refreshing. Pretty decent pint, this one.

Bomber from Whole Foods. There is a dash of green in the dark tan pour. Top of the heap aroma - sweet mellow hops, freshly baked cookies. green leaves. The taste is peppy and hoppy (Amarillo? Just a guess). It is pretty light on the palate, and not sugary or heavy on the malts. There are some green hops in the aftertaste. A really good PA - glad I had it fresh.
