COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With Wee Geech, we aimed to satisfy the hop heads out there, while still offering a sessionable and balanced ale. We employed the use of some very characteristic late-hops to provide maximum flavor and aroma without a tongue-scraping bitterness. The aroma hops have a very piney, citrusy, and grassy element which we further emphasized by adding fresh cut lemongrass late in the kettle. It also imparts a spicy ginger character that you may not be able to put your finger on. The malt body was kept simple, clean, and slightly biscuity to let the hops shine through.

Growler shared by shigadeyo. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was was lasting with good lacing. Moderate spruce hop and yeast aroma. Medium body with a dry slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded.

Draft.. clear light amber with a nice white head... light hoppy aroma, kinda bland... light pine, some very light citrus, toasty... fairly watery... given the abv and purpose, this is a good english pale, hoped for a little more pungent aroma/flavor from AV...

On tap. Pours with a clear golden-yellow body and a thick white head of tan foam. Good retention. Aromas are bready, candied pear, currants, toffee, straw, raisins, esters. Fruity and slightly earthy hop blend. Flavors are bitter, earthy, spicy even dirty. Raw grain. Trace notes of diacetyl. Lively, dry and lightly astringent.

13-Mar-11 (Draft: Pizza Port in Carlsbad, CA)
This easy-drinkiní session brew pours golden in color with good clarity and a half-inch of bubbly, off-white head that settles to a thin, but full layer. Aromas are toasty, tea-like, and slightly buttery, with some stone fruit in the background. The medium-sweet, somewhat grainy malt is nicely balanced by lightly bitter hop flavors of tea and orange citrus rind, with a summer and stone fruitiness not too far in the background. The body is light-medium in weight, the carbonation is medium-plus, and the mouthfeel is dry and slightly tannic like tea. A ring of lace at the top of glass with patchy spots below. This isnít a brash beer with big flavors, but itís tasty, well balanced, and pleasant to drink.

Draft at PP Carlsbad. Clear golden pour, slightly red, with white head. Biscuity malt, citrus, lightly bitter hops, and a touch of sweetness. Not much going on here, but it is quite tasty and drinkable for low abv. Not bad.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. The color is flaming golden, like, literally looks like its on fire. Wow. Oh, wait, itís sitting directly in front of a candle. It really is a golden color with a very slight haze. Medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and leafy, floral hops. The taste is bitter hops and pale, crackery malts. Medium bodied.

Celebrator 23rd Anniversary party 2011. It pours gold with a white head. The aroma is grainy and the flavor is grainy/bready with a dry finish. Very standard and not that exciting but well made.
