COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With Wee Geech, we aimed to satisfy the hop heads out there, while still offering a sessionable and balanced ale. We employed the use of some very characteristic late-hops to provide maximum flavor and aroma without a tongue-scraping bitterness. The aroma hops have a very piney, citrusy, and grassy element which we further emphasized by adding fresh cut lemongrass late in the kettle. It also imparts a spicy ginger character that you may not be able to put your finger on. The malt body was kept simple, clean, and slightly biscuity to let the hops shine through.

Comes out of the tap a clear amber, not much head but that may be an artifact of the pour. Aroma is malty and fruity with a firm hint of hops. Flavor is mainly hoppy, contrary to the aroma, woody and a little evergreen, with some subtle citrus notes. Texture is smooth with good fizz, but not a whole lot of body. Definitely worthy of at least a try!

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Grapefruit and bread aroma. Dry and clean, medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mild resiny bitterness.

On tap. Clear golden color, good off-white head, leaving plenty lace. Very nice grassy spicy hop aroma for such a light brew. Reminds me of the 5 Rabbits 5 Grass I tried a couple days ago, but less dank, more of a balance. Good moderate bitter taste. Good lighter crisp carbonation, dry finish. Great session pale ale, satisfyingly on the hoppy side. It’d be cool to see cans of this distributed. Would quaff again.

Draft. Mostly clear golden color with a small white head. Grassy and grainy aroma, pretty nice. Interesting flavor, almost a bit roasty, with biscuit and caramel. Not too hoppy. Medium-light body with good carbonation. Nice "session beer" if you can call it that.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours pale gold with fluffy white head. Nose is resiny hops, black pepper, spicy yeasty. Tastes hoppy, fruity with mango and pineapple, resiny, spicy with black pepper. Medium palate heft. This one is not a 3.0 beer. It is a 3.5 and higher beer. Trust me on that, and try this one if you see it.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, hops, grass, grain, and a hint of citrus. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, creamy, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Not sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, grass, hops, and a hint of caramel. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, grass, hop finish is lightly dry, slightly sweet, and lightly bitter.
