Pours black with a small off-white head. The aroma is a bit sweet with hints of cream - rather light. The flavor is a hint of sour with some smoke and milk chocolate in the middle and a dry coffee finish.

Bottled. black color and thick with tan head. Aroma is sweet and coffee and chocolate with some light fruits and burnt. Generally a milder sweet aroma. Flavor is some hop bitterness with more roasted coffee and malt. However, stays bitter throughout. Ends clean (as it is throughout) and light burnt and licorice.

A great stout. This could probably also be classified as a sweet stout. Big, sweet mocha flavor and not much bite. Brown sugar, prune, nice but not overwhelming kick of hops.

Pours a very dark color, almost black with a very large light tan head leaving plenty of lace. Aroma is coffee, mocha, raw chocolate, some light fruitiness. Flavor is a nice balance of sweeter chocolate notes and very nice hop bitterness. There are notes of dark roasted coffee and some burnt toast (to a lesser degree. There is a light sharpness to the flavor almost like the hoppiness paired with a bit of tart flavor. This is very tasty stout.

Nice pour with a nearly black body and a tan, pillowy, frothy, moderately full head which does leave some froth throughout and lace to match. Nose is simple and enjoyable with some roasted oats, light coffee, faint raisin, bread toast, cocoa, and hints of smoke. Flavor is much of the same with some mocha coffee entering, light oatmeal, bread toast, toasted caramel, and still faint raisin. Palate is nice with a moderately full body, somewhat velvety, lightly dry, and nearly lively. Finish is lightly dry, light to moderately bitter with some mocha and toast remaining. A very nice stout and certainly true to the oatmeal stout style with drinkablilty and smoothness being the key. Also, mild complexities and just enough bitterness help this one to be a memorable stout.

Dark dark brown pour. Lots of roasted malts and coffee notes on the nose. Taste is sweet but finishes with the dryness of a nice coffee. Enjoyable.

On tap at the Fort Worth Flying Saucer. Black pour with a brown head that took a few days to finally settle. Very creamy. Lots of malt. No smell.
