22 ounce bottle from Johns Marketplace in PDX--Poured a brown-black blody with a thin tan head. Nose of bitter hops and chocolate malts. Creamy, slick mouthfeel, almost oily. Milky, smooth, and thick. Very nice. Finished dry and rich with a bit of lingering bitterness.

Draught at the Library Alehouse, Santa Monica, Ca. 6/20/08. Opaque creamy tan head, thick lacing. Rich creamy malt aroma with a milk chocolatey and oatmeal taste and aroma, nice smooth with little char or bitterness.

Dark but very different than a normal stout, a strong non beer taste. Like fermented oat coffee. Not a great stout but a decent beverage. All yeast piss and burnt barley flavor

Bottle. Pours a dark potter brown, not quiet a the deep oily black of a big stout. Nose is very pleasant with lots of coffee’s, malts, roasted chocolates and spice. Taste is full but not heavy, easy to drink in large amounts. it’s roasty with a bit of coffee and background of hop/sweet mix. finishes well.

Pours dark black with nice roasted malt aroma and a white head that stayed around awhile. Quite smooth and easy to drink for a stout.
