Bottle. Pours a dark potter brown, not quiet a the deep oily black of a big stout. Nose is very pleasant with lots of coffee’s, malts, roasted chocolates and spice. Taste is full but not heavy, easy to drink in large amounts. it’s roasty with a bit of coffee and background of hop/sweet mix. finishes well.

Pours dark black with nice roasted malt aroma and a white head that stayed around awhile. Quite smooth and easy to drink for a stout.

bottle poured a very dark brown with a thick frothy one finger tan head that fell to a heavy ring in the glass. aroma has light roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, and oats. mouth feel is medium light with a fairly silky texture. flavors of roast malt, dark chocolate, oatmeal, and coffee. finish is smooth, dry, has roasted bitterness, and light hops. easy to drink session stout with good flavor balance.

Pours a dark brown with a foamy tan head. Smoky malt, coffee, and chocolate aroma. Sweet , light malty flavor. A little thin on the palate for a stout. A little hop bite on the finish. A stout for the masses that dont really like stouts.

12oz bottle. Nothing special. Poured a dark dark brown color some lighter brown head. Smell of usual stouts but lighter vanilla oatmeal and chocolate. Flavor reminds me of Captin’ Crunch! Seriously. Some hints of caramel, oats and malts. Dry finish. Nothing here that wowed me.

Bottle from Shop Rite. Dark brown pour with no real hues. Oatmeal chocolate malt and minimal hop character. Surprise i really liked this local treat.

Poured black with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolately and smoky. Flavor is sweeter than the nose with a nice burnt coffee finish.
