Jun 30, 2008 22 ounce bottle from Johns Marketplace in PDX--Poured a brown-black blody with a thin tan head. Nose of bitter hops and chocolate malts. Creamy, slick mouthfeel, almost oily. Milky, smooth, and thick. Very nice. Finished dry and rich with a bit of lingering bitterness.

Jun 25, 2008 12oz Bottle Pours out a almost black topped with a light tan head. A very nice aroma of roast malt and sweet milk chocolate. Tast of the roast some coffee and some of the sweet chocolate. A touch of bitter on the end.

Opaque creamy tan head, thick lacing. Rich creamy malt aroma with a milk chocolatey and oatmeal taste and aroma, nice smooth with little char or bitterness.

Jun 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark potter brown, not quiet a the deep oily black of a big stout. Nose is very pleasant with lots of coffee’s, malts, roasted chocolates and spice. Taste is full but not heavy, easy to drink in large amounts. it’s roasty with a bit of coffee and background of hop/sweet mix. finishes well.

May 24, 2008 A nice deep black with a nice roasted malt aroma. Flavor is roasted malt and a little licorice. Medium body with a nice finish.
