Deep dark black nectar of the Stout Gods. The deep heavy dark malts and rich chocolte, toffee, coffee aromoa and flavor where awesome. The beer was one I love to drink over and over. Cold this beer is awesome. One of the best Oatmeal stouts i have ever had. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 01/13/1996

Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA Aug 29, 2007 there was a bit of hype surrounding this stout here in Tucson, but I’m afraid that this brew didn’t quite live up... it is pleasant enough tho, with its robust, bitter chocolate flavo RCL (1443), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Aug 28, 2007 I really enjoy this beer. It’s a bit simple and a little thin, but it is really pleasant to drink. Light roast aroma and sweet malty flavor. It’s a bit like chocolate skim milk. I could drink tubs of this. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Aug 27, 2007 pours black with a huge three finger fluffy dark brown head. aroma is caramel and chocolate malt and oats with caramel, chocolate, and a little coffee characteristics. has a medium to full body with descent lacing that follows the liquid and just right on the carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with the coffee coming out a bit more. it is sticky, sweet, and a little creamy. it is a little thin here and there for a stout but not bad. also as it warms some of the hops come out to play aroma and flavor wise. and there is a touch of smoke in the aftertaste. unrulythings (73), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 26, 2007 aroma full of caramel and malt. light on the palate. slightly sweet of chocolate and coffee at first, followed by a bittersweet, dark chocolate finish. lovely sweet stout. DAYtheELF (7), Seattle, Washington, USA does not count Aug 23, 2007 Pours dark with medium, creamy head. Has a deep, smooth taste that goes right down. An exceptional stout in bottle and on tap. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Aug 22, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a deep dark brown color. Not much light came through. Head was thick and light brown with decent retention and lacing. Aroma was of milk chocolate and light roasted malt. Slightly sweet on the tongue with a smooth, full bodied mouth feel. Tasted of chocolate up front followed by a hint of coffee and burnt stick. Pretty good.
