Decent beer with pretty good flavor. Sweet on the finish, with mild flavor. Amazing mouthfeel though, so thick and cream it’s like a blended mocha.

Fleeting aroma of chocolate and earthy roast. Silky smooth on the palate - melted milk and dark chocolate with a hint of citrus hop.

On tap for growler fills at Half-Time. Pours a clear brown to black with some crimson highlights and a medium to large tanned beige head. Sweet caramel aromas and not much else. Little bit thin. Roast flavors and slightly astringent. Finishes up with a bit of roast bitterness. Unimpressive.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown/black color with a light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate and coffee are readily apparent. Similar flavors. Has a bit of a bite on the finish, medium to heavily bodied.

A sim rate (bottle at magicdave’s): aroma has a roasty, milk chocolate and licquorice aroma that’s quite nice. Tart, bitter, dark chocolate flavour that’s just not quite full enough to impress. Quite a good beer but just not great.

Sample glass from the brewery. Dark as night in the glass with deep amber reflections. Nose of earthy oatmeal and hints of hops. Flavor held the same earthy oatmeal accompanied by a sweetness that i couldn’t pinpoint.

( 22oz bottle thanks to ballewblake) Pours black with brown edges, light brown head and nice bubbles. Nose is unleavened bread, yeast, oats, graham crackers and chocolate. Taste is slightly watery, chocolatey. Mouthfeel is viscous and the carbonation is quite velvety.
