The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of roasted malt, but also lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of roasted malt, but also notes of coffee, leading to a dry woody end. jrohn92 (105), USA Oct 10, 2006 This has a thin body for a stout. It is very easy to tell that the malt is not just roasted but it is burnt giving a strong coffee flavor. The hop accomedate the burnt flavor very well.
