Jul 14, 2009 very dark color with a brown head, just like a coffee. Aroma is roasted malt and some chocolate notes; Flavor is kind of sweet and bitter, notes of coffee and toffee. Mouthfeel is bitter but left a sweet sensation like chocolate or something like that, is really good. Good stuff!

Jul 10, 2009 A creamy rich stout, with a nice chocolate and roasted carmel flavor. Not much bite, fairly smooth and very drinkable. This is the kind of stout I can drink again and again. Thumbs way up.

Jul 7, 2009 Comes out of the tap a rich brown-black with a nice thick tan head. Strong aroma is smoky and malty with firm tones of coffee, smoke and chocolate. Rich flavor is smoky and subtly chocolaty with a coffee undertone and hints of toffee and molasses. Texture is pleasingly smooth, yet tingly and lively.

Jun 28, 2009 A very dark brown color body ,with a medium sized off white foamy head. Aroma is roasty with some coffee and nice dark chocolate notes. Flavor is sweet up front,roasty coffee and chocolate as in the aroma, a slight pine hop finish to balance the sweetness out. Full body and mouthfeel , medium carbonation,lots of jagged lacing left on the glass. Quite drinkable , and a very nice session beer.

Jun 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours black with tan head. Overall very good flavor with chocolate, coffee, oat, and nutty notes. Well-carbonated. A little thin palate-wise in my estimation but that doesn’t prevent this from being a classic oatmeal stout.

Pours with a lit. brown head that sits ontop of a black hue.
Aroma is of chocolate, dark fruits, coffee, oats, and lettuce - weirdly enough
Flavor is sweet, and chocolatey in the beginning followed by a watery finish
Syrupy texture with light carbonation.

Jun 18, 2009 On tap. Pours with fluffy brown head and a deep brown body. Aroma of brown sugar, oat meal, chocolate and coffee grounds. Taste it is creamy chocolate, oatmeal cookie, nuts (pecans), light roast. Creamy carbonation.
