Aroma is on the sweet side. Taste is some nice toasted nuts and chocolate. Overall pretty solid.

Rating #1040 - March 27, 2014 - @avbc tap takeover @revolutionYEG. Maybe found this underwhelming a tinge as Ive had the wild turkey stout many many times before. Beautiful dark brown pour with a fairly weak tan head with mild lacing. Aroma is a hint of dark chocolate, toasted malt, burnt sugar Warmth of the alcohol present but balanced by the sharp bitterness of the stout. Hop presence is excellent. Love the delicate earthiness.

Very good stout. Lots of thick body and different elements here. Pours black without much head or lacing after an initial fizz. Nice oat and coffee in aroma with poignant roast aroma and a touch of burn. Finishes pretty bitter. Thick consistency. Bottle.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Pint. Opaque black pour with a large foamy light brown head. Sweet liquorice. Coffee caramels. Sour chocolate. Creamy and smooth. Oatmeal fullness (and dullness.) Sensing a tart bite here that could mean an infected keg or line. Want to hold off on a full review until I find thus again.

@ Röhällavägen. Can (355 ml) from Systembolaget (22:-). Roasted malt and chocolate, coffee and vanilla, light hoppy, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry and bitter with roasted notes.

Malty aroma: Sweet, raisin, dark caramel, and subtle roasted malt. Flavor is also malty, but different. Roasted malt, caramel/toffee, sweet, raisin/plum fruit. Coffee-ish aftertaste.
