The description is off on this one. But this is a great beer. It has everything you would want in an oatmeal stout: chocolate, coffee, dark malts, caramel, hint of smoke.

12oz brown bottle. 5.8% abv as per label. Opaque dark brown pour with a creamy beige cap. Nice lace rings in the glass. Nose is coffeeish with some chocolate and caramel. Taste is coffee, caramel, subtle fruity/raisin notes. Roasty, drying finish with some chocolate notes. Medium body, mild and smooth mouthfeel. Overall a nice oatmeal stout.

Dark brown liquid, chocolate brown head. A bit alcoholic aroma with malts, wheat, oat and a bit of roasted coffee. Taste is a bit more watery than expected, sadly. This comes along with wheat, malt, medium sweetness. Bread, some oats and hops in the aftertaste.

bottle. a black beer with a small, tan head. sweet, creamed coffee, caramel nose. not as sweet as i was expecting, but a roasty bitterness and that familiar oaty finish makes for a nice beer. full bodied. rich flavors.

Neither particularly into stout nor into oatmeal, still found this very smooth and drinkable. Not much going on in the nose.Tastewise definitely roasted, malty but not heavy on alcohol. Liked the dark chocolate bitter aftertaste instead of the usual stout sweetness. Didn’t pick up the hops mentioned in the description. Full mouthfeel and a filler of a beer.

On draft. Way too metallic once you taste it. Other than that, the aroma is chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with a tiny bit of coffee. It may be the draft lines, so i am not ruling it out as a good beer or great beer, but for now, it is what it is.

Flaske 0,33l på Bistro Trägårn, Kiruna 27 Apr 12. Mørk brun. Litt rødskjær. Nesten ikke skum. Søt fruktig aroma med innslag av mandler. Smaken plommer, svisker & mandler. Vel søt. På det jevne.

Poured from 12oz bottle into an English Pint glass. Black with a dense, creamy brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and some oats. Flavor starts with sweet malt leading into chocolate and some roasted coffee. Incredibly smooth with just a touch of bitterness on the palate. Definitely a great oatmeal stout.

Black color, almost no light can pass through, head is half a finger and is colored dark brown; For aroma, chocolate, mocha, maple syrup, and alcohol stings; Taste is hints of coffee, raising, grapes and other dark fruits with a bitter sweet aftertaste; somewhat medium body, creamy oily on the palate

Pours a dark brown with a quickly dissipating tan head from the can, and decent lacing on the way down. Aroma is of a slight coffee and partial oatty grains. Taste is nice, but nothing too spectacular, a weird feel on the tongue. Good stout, and decently well balanced.
