Smooth mouthfeel, yet lighter than I would have expected. Mild bitterness, smooth roasted malt and slight chocolate flavoured. Smooth lingering roasted malt flavoured finish.

Clear dark black color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, burnt, cofee, dark berry sour. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light berry acidic - sour and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081207]
