2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Rough roast barley aroma, hint of fruit. Almost black colour, seems clear. Big stable brown head. The flavour is roasted with a dull coffee note. Coffee grounds finish, gets a little sour. Rather thin mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 12oz. A clear dark brown body is topped by a small, tan head. The aroma is pretty roasted, with coffee and some dark chocolate. Pretty similar flavor, with a roasted-bitter touch towards the end. I’d like some more hops if I were to choose. It’s soft on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level, medium to full-bodied and neither too sweet nor too dry. Overall, an easy drinking and tasteful beer I wouldn’t shy away from having again. 130405

(Bottle) Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Has a chocolate and coffee aroma with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Had a somewhat water mouth feel for a stout.
