COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its deep, dark brown-black color, thick, full-bodied, velvety-smooth mouth feel, mocha character, and, strong yet subtle hop bite, Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout is one of the thickest, richest, and most complex stouts on the market today.

Pours black with a tan head. Could be a little bit thicker, but still very smooth. Great flavor. Not as acrid as a lot of oatmeal stouts. My only other quibble is that 5.7% seems kind of low for a stout. More of a straight porter.

Buona stout. Schiuma perfetta e persistente. Aromi puliti di cioccolato e caffè. Birra molto equilibrata e beverina. Luppolatura scarsa.

The aroma is mostly malty, but there’s hints of chocolates and dark berries in there. Flavor is smooth and with a light mouthfeel. There’s some coffee breaking through in the end, but nothing really takes over and leaves you with a bit watery and thin bitterness.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a very dark brown almost black with tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, licorice, dark fruits, caramel. Taste is a nice balanced oatmeal stouts. Taste is similar to the nose with definite oats flavor. Moderate sweetness and a nice mild to moderate bitterness. Pretty solid oatmeal stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours black with a small brown head. Chocolate, dark fruit, bread and dark roasted malt in the taste and aroma. Mild, smooth and nicely balanced. Not in your face, very pleasant.

Indeed hints of vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Loved it’s nice thick texture and a great beer, might be one of my favorite Stouts.

Aroma has hints of vanilla and a lot of coffee and some chocolate. The beer pours black with a brown foam that fades. Taste is slightly sweet, some bitterness a hint of salt. A touch thin on the body. Oily texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.

"always pleasing. has a nice nose and a great smoothness and flavor. actually a touch thin on the body, but smooth, this is an easy drinking and enjoyably complex oatmeal chocolatey stout. "

In short: smooth oatmeal and recently made bread beer. Aroma is hoppy and liquory, taste is beetween coffee/roasted sensation of hot bread, palate is licorice and hoppy. Incredible beer, like the liquid version of spiced chocolate homemade bread.

Can from deeside drinks. Pours a black with a thin brown head which fades. Aromas of treacle, slight pine and coffee hints. Flavour is mainly chocolatey coffee with that oatmeal mustiness. Tasty.
