RCL (942), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Aug 28, 2007 I really enjoy this beer. It’s a bit simple and a little thin, but it is really pleasant to drink. Light roast aroma and sweet malty flavor. It’s a bit like chocolate skim milk. I could drink tubs of this.
cbeers21 (344), Miami, Florida, USA Jul 4, 2008 Nice deep brown/black pour with thinning head. Oaty, nice robust chocolate malts come off the nose. Nice toasted aromas. Well-bodied, oaty, chewy, almost tooth coating iwth a nice light coffee maltiness with a solid hop backbone. Well done. BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA Jul 2, 2008 You know I’ve never been crazy about this beer. It was always just a bit too overdone for me. Graham cracker maltiness, with some chocolate, and a oily mouthfeel, that almost has a milky sweetness in the finish. Finishes rich and dry. Angeloregon (1464), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 30, 2008 22 ounce bottle from Johns Marketplace in PDX--Poured a brown-black blody with a thin tan head. Nose of bitter hops and chocolate malts.
