3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Peripherals: Ruby brown and glowing in the glass with a large, beautiful fluffy tan head. Smells sweet and buttery, but weak. First cut: Thin, with a burst of sour grape flavor in the middle. Watery texture. Deeper: Tries to get dry on the end, but doesn’t really succeed, having to overcome the impression of wateriness; however, there is a vaguely roasty flavor on the end. It’s interesting, not necessarily like other oatmeal stouts I’ve had (lacks that mustly oatsy quality). Sampled at a gathering of TN Ratebeerians a couple months ago; thanks to whoever brought it (didn’t write down who).

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black as night with a brown head that lasted and left nice lacing.
Aroma is primarily coffee with a touch of chocolate. Flavor is more of an American stout IMO, with heavier amounts of dark roasty, burnt flavors, but there’s a good amount of oatmeal in there too, making for a very delicious beer that I will surely buy again!
Body is pretty thick and chewy, with a roasty bitter finish.
Definitely a well made oatmeal stout. I will look for this one again, and more from Anderson valley.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pitch Black colour with a brownish head. Nice roasted aroma with some espresso and mocha notes with a bit of chocolate and sports a bit of a light floral quality. On the palate it is rich, creamy and has some of chocolate flavours and a nice round finish. Really easy drinking.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Systemet.
Almost tar black with a nice brownish head. Firmly malty aroma with a lot of caramell. A bit to carbonared with a prickly palate. Surprisingly thin and flat taste.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle. Pitch black with medium, light brown head.
NOSE : black chocolate, coffee, cream, wet stone and mud like aromas, strong toffee, dough.
SIP : medium thick body with delicate carbonation and oily texture. The beer is smooth and mild in taste. Quite complex yet nothing on a high note. Sweet from start but attenuated by roasted malts further on. Slightly earthy. Hops are not much bitter but give a floral feeling and add well to the round flavor of this beer. Finish is mellow, not too dry not too sweet. Delicate bitterness from roasted malts , a bit like light and sweet coffee with milk.
OVERALL : great smooth body is the biggest turn on with this beer. Personally not a big fan of plain stouts because neither they are thirst quenching and not a great booze but this one seams one of the better ones from this style that I have tried until now.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark with wispy tan head. Slight roasted nuts, earth, wood on Nose. Smooth, creamy, milky sweet flavours. Low carbonation. Bitterness on finish but not too much. A little unbalanced, overly sweet and a little uncomplicated but it’s like a warm Creamy milk to send me on my way to bed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Smaczny stout owsiany, dość wytrawny w smaku, lekko kawowy, nuty karmelu, palone, ale dość gładkie. Lekko drażniące język pikanterią na finiszu. Przydałoby mu się ciut więcej ciała.
