Aroma is thick with basil. Appearance is like an IPA, but with the small bubbles carbonation that indicates nitrogen. Luckily aroma is not "freezer burnt", probably because of basil. Taste is sweet and full of basil and hop, true to word. Palate is dry and hopped, and bitter like an ipa.

Tap. Unique vegetative aroma with a citrusy base. Medium to light body with a mouthcoating mouthfeel. Nice, clean, finish with the basil coming through nicely.

On tap at Capones 2013 Black Friday event. Ruby light amber with a cream head. Refreshing floral hop and basil aroma, chewy, buttery, pesto finish, moderate carbonation and body, quite enjoyable.

Tap (gravity dispense?) at Capones Black Friday Bash, Norristown PA, 29/11/13. Hazed dark amber with a good sized eggshell white head. Nose is floral hops, herbal, pasta sauce, basil, fruit notes. Taste comprises hops, orange pith, grapefruit, lgiht pine, caramel malt, faint basil. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, subtle hop bitterness and grassy finale with light herbal notes. Decent stuff, I was surprised, the basil is all in the aroma, the taste is more akin to an IPA with light herbal leanings.

Draft. Poured a clear dark orange copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop and basil aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good beer.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Looks solid; a transparent orange with fluffy off-white head. Smells and tastes of hops and basil. Average on the palate. Okay.

On tap. Clear orange orange red color. Good thin off-white head. Leaves plenty of lace. Good retention. Really nice-looking stuff. Nice basil in the nose, some hop. Medium-plus body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Easy to drink, kind of creamy texture, almost. Lightly dry in the finish. Nice tropical fruit, some citrus, hearty amount of basil. Light bitter, some savory. Light spicy bite. Love it. Very tasty, and easy to drink stuff. Awesome with food

Meh. A very average beer. Aroma was weak. Could pick up some stale hops and not much else. Pour was a nice medium gold with a two finger off white head. Taste was very bland. Not much flavor in the beginning, then a small malt backbone came out and sweetened the mouth. A slightly bitter hop finish rounded the beer out. No basil detected, but in all fairness this beer has been on tap for quite some time. Decent carbonation

16 oz sample on tap at Mojos in Woodland. Aroma is super herbal, with basil, of course. It almost imparts a fruitiness, too. Also a bit floral. Unique aroma. Moderately hazy orangy body present with a medium white head that dissipates a little too rapidly. Tons of basil to start, holy shit. Tastes like pizza sauce or little Caesars crazy bread dipping sauce. Finishes with an earthy and moderately bitter hoppiness. An interesting experiment, but not something I could drink a lot of.
