A medium-bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt.

Amber color. Light haziness. Stable medium head and low carbonation. Medium mouthfeel and sirupy consistence. Herbal notes in taste. Malt heavy. Crystal malts. Enjoyed it although one glass is too many.

Slightly hazy amber orange beer, medium to small beige head. Nose is caramel toastiness, vanilla, fruity notes. Flavor is simple and malty, less toast than the nose, bready notes, dry and mildly hoppy finish. Simple stuff, the nose is lovely, but the flavor is thinner than the nose would suggest. Pretty easy to drink though.

CAN. Pours copper with big beige head.. Subtle doughy biscuit malt aroma.. Good biscuit malt, maple syrup more than caramel?? but both are there, simple but good!.. Sourced Cape Cellars

Een lekkere ale. Op zich vrij tamme smaak en weinig bitter maar smaakt wel lekker zacht en neigt wat naar caramel. Mooie kastanje bruine kleur met mooie schuimkraag die wel snel verdwijnt.

On tap at Stateline with Patty and Kara in LT. Seen this at many places around town. Since Stateline has a large sampler I took it as a choice. Pours clear dark amber with white head. Aromas of malt, pine and toast. Taste is medium bitter, some sweet, greasy malts. Aftertaste is dry, somewhat bitter and dry. A decent amber

Clear dark amber colour with nice slightly caramel foam. Aroma reminded me of chestnuts and was very pleasantly bitter too. Taste was very light, nothing too aggressive and was very smooth with pitch perfect amount of hops for nice taste and aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Appearance: Amber red, brilliant clarity, with a frothy, thick off white foam cap that lingers with nice lacing. Aroma: Caramel malt base, with a strong hop aroma of grass, lemon, citrus, and resin. Taste: Rich, strongly toasted bread malt flavor, turning into a firm hop bitterness and flavors of citrus, grass, and resin. Mouthfeel: Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finish: Bitterness dominates the finish, leaving a dry and sticky resin character in the tongue. Bread crust lingers retronasally. Overall: Good AAA. Strong bread crust malt flavor with a strong west coast style hopping.
