At Yardhouse go to brew, great. Malty to a slight easy drinking, great with Yardhouse chow. All day drinking clear light red amber. Crisp finish.

Bottle. It has citrusy hop notes, it has a rather strong bitterness but the stress is on the malt base in this one, that is resembling marzen beers or polotmave. Toasted, caramelly, dried fruit, rooibos, this kind of maltiness. It’s also sweet and pleasantly sticky in the mouth. Some dryness in the finish provides a kind of balance, although this beer is on the sweet side. Me likes it.

Crowd pleasing amber with sweet malts and a little harmful bitterness. Quite dry mid palate with some metallic notes but otherwise line and length and a good one for the masses. $3.50 for a can at Howard Johnson’s vending machine in Anaheim.

Pours amber, indeed. Some coppery rust aroma, with very light citrus and an ok malt profile. Better than some in the style. Tap at a barbecue place.

Pours from the can a copper color with a big, frothy head. Wild lacing. Nose is roasted grain and malt with notes of caramel.Taste is quite sweet. Perhaps too sweet for me. Hop barely detectable. Rich, thick cola- and root beer-like flavors. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Cola finish. Not bad.

Purchased six pack while on Florida. Drinking it on the beach, and not able to pour into a glass Not my kind of ale, too think of a palate feel, too orangey for me.

In a flight on 13th March 2014 at the Back Bay Bar inside Wholefoods store in Newport Beach. I thought the colour was leaning towards mahogany rather than amber, let’s say dark amber: on top a good white crown. Sadly I thought the beer a little non-descript in nature; the other beers within the flight selection overshadowing it . The nose was slightly sweet with some caramel notes coming through, but served so cold it struggled to actually have any aroma. The taste was also semi-sweet with those caramel notes leading the flavour. Medium bodied but just a little lacking overall.
