COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium-bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt.

I am not all impressed with this beer. It really lacks in taste and palate. It only has one flavor and it's all bitter...if you like bitter then give it a try, but it tastes like an overdone IPA to me.

This is the definitional session beer. I was absolutely amazed by the different charecteristics of this beer. Amazing flavor yet no after taste whatsoever. Very light carmel flavor. Awesome hops aroma but no flavor or bitterness. Unbelievable smooth...almost like an ESB. I’ve read that this was one of the first great microbrews from the 1980’s. I completely concur.

Medium dark hazy amber color, flavored with distinct caramel and hint of citrus. So close to being real good, but not quite.

Has a nice amber color and a fruity smell. Taste is a smooth fuity malt flavor and finishes with light bitterness. Overall I like this beer quite a bit.

pleasant carmely and light floral nose. Very drinkable session beer, I could quite easily down a sixer without looking back. I like the mouthfeel too, just a little bit too much cloying though.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2006 Hazy amber, large head. Antiseptic citrus nose. Faintly fruity, good malt taste. Medium hop finish. Metallic. Think I got a bad one. Will look for another and re rate Rerate Sept 24/06:Hazy dark amber, small beige head.Light woody, carmel nose. Nice crystal(not carmel) malt profile, lightly hopped.

A nice beer, but not a great one. Has a lemony aroma to it, with a thick head as well. The taste is only so-so, and the aftertaste isn’t good at all.
