Poured from a can. Amber color with a large fluffy head. Nice aroma. Taste - not so great. A little on the sweet side with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Would not buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

They represent many microbrewers attempt to cater to the lowest common denominator. But this signature beer from Anderson Valley is quite flavorful, offering roasty caramel and toasted toffee notes. Very smooth, very drinkable. A good session ale.

Pretty decent beer. Good looking and the overall mix was strong. Well balanced. Thought the appearance sets it apart from others.

"One of my favorite ambers. This was has a great fresh aroma, with mostly malt up front, then a nice hoppy finish. well balanced and refreshing. Nothing too showy, but presses the right buttons."

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium, split with Andrew. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Light lacing. Aroma of fudge and toffee. Flavour of fig roll, mushy red apple and caramel. Medium body with a powdery texture. Soft fizz. Pretty good, but nothing particularly memorable or moreish.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Pint mug From: Albertson’s in Alpine, Calif. Price: $1.67 ($9.99 for a mix 6-pack) Purchased: Oct. 11, 2014 Consumed: Oct. 11, 2014 Misc.: N/A Poured a dark caramel, auburn, semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki, light tan, frothy head. A few streams of bubbles coming up from the bottom, but nothing crazy. Decent amount of uneven spots of lacing along the sides of the glass. Average retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 3.88) Smelled menthol, cough drops, honey, caramel, lemon zest, light grassy notes and slight roasty malts. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted better than the nose. Got rich caramel, honey, roasty malts, menthol, menthol cough drops, lemon and light nuts. (Taste - 3.88) Light-to-medium body. Thin-to-oily texture. Soft carbonation. Long, sweet finish. (Feel - 3.75) This was overall a pretty good amber. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try it or even rate it, but not bad for the style. (Overall - 3.88) 3.84 86 B+

This is a really clean, straightforward amber ale from Anderson Valley. Pours copper amber with a thick, creamy, white head that leaves lacing. Aroma is malt, caramel, slight citrus and herbs. Taste is well balanced, malt forward and fruity with a medium hop bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, well balanced finish. Classic English style ale, well done!

0,33 pullo@ Urho’s Pub. Samea kastanjanruskea. Tuoksussa makeita maltaita, hiukan paahteisuutta, ruohoa muistuttava humalaa . Ei vahvaa tuoksua, vaikea saada mitään irti. Maussa mallasta, hiukan metallia, yrttejä. Maku on hyvä, suutuntuma miellyttävä. Ärsyttää kun ei saa aromista enempää irti!

Pours a light brown beer with a medium beige head. Smells malty, caramel. Tastes malt bitter and leaves a kong lingering caramel malt bitterness. Mouth feel is full with low carbonation and non alcoholic taste; Great rich beer!
